It makes sense, until you realize that if minimum wage goes up, cost of living goes up too. In Australia, minimum wage is around $12, but things are generally more expensive there. Raising minimum wage doesn't do anything except make people feel like they have more money.

In Mexico, they had a president elected that they absolutely despised. All the people shut themselves in their houses and went to absolutely no stores or anything until their president stepped down. He resigned 5 days later, and 0 lives were lost. If you guys seemed to have an exact problem and an exact solution, then maybe you could do something like that. The problem is is that there is no exact, specific aim, and no exact, specific way to get there. In stead of just saying you want freedom, say you want to get rid of the question in applications that asks for your race, and then propose a new bill to enforce that. Think of specific problems, come up with specific solutions, and work towards that, then do it again, with slightly bigger and more pressing problems every time. Obviously it won't be perfect, but it will be effective.

Solange announced on Instagram that she will be putting money in a black owned bank. This has the potential to be so HUGE. If y'all are old enough and have bank accounts I urge you to research and consider putting some into a black owned bank. Can you imagine if all black people STOPPED using white owned banks?? The economy would collapse. This could achieve the change we need without violence. Idk how many posts like this are going around but if there aren’t any please spread!

Okay so I think this is good, and this whole movement is great and stuff, but as a white person, I have a few questions that I truly want honest answers to.

1. What are the specific problems you want addressed? Like I know you want equality and such, but specific problems?

2. What are your proposed solutions to those problems? Pretty much, I want to help but I can't help unless I know what wrong and how you plan to fix it, if that makes sense. In my opinion, which is maybe out of place, I think if you want us to help you fix this, you have to tell us exactly what's wrong and how to help, because we don't know.

3. I've heard the old, "reverse racism doesn't exist" quite a bit, but I'm kinda confused. Racism is called racism because it can be any race being derogatory or vicious to another race, as far as I'm concerned. I know there's different types, like systemic racism and such that's harder to identify and fix, but is it really not considered racist when a black person shoots a white person(or multiple white people) because they are white? Or when they use derogatory names and insults towards white people because we are white and clueless(because you haven't told us how to help)?

Anyways, I hope these questions make sense and that hopefully I will soon understand a bit more about the black lives matter movement. :)
