Had a miraculous ladybug dream. Must have been post reveal. Im mad because it was pretty good and i cant remember the details. But Adrien still flirted with Marinette, both in and out of the costume, and it was a situation where she didn't mind him flirting but just didn't take him seriously, just thought it was his general personality basically. But for whatever reason. I guess since she didn't think he was serious, she just didn't engage/didn't think she had feelings for him. But they were close friends, hung out, went on friend dates alone etc, discussed hawkmoth etc. And they knew who hawkmoth was but it was slightly less extreme in the show. Like oh hawkmoth is at it again. Like he's serious but generally just a vague annoyance. Doofenshmirtz vibes but more serious.

Anyway so hawkmoth who went to another dimension / hawkmoth from another dimension I think, came and took something of theirs and so Marinette and Adrien go out to lunch at some cute Cafe to discuss it and Adrien is like okay. So I go to this other dimension, do this, come back. Easy, no big deal. Because for some reason Adrien has to go and Marinette has to stay. I don't know why, it didn't seem like a huge deal.

And Marinette is like. I'm not so sure about that but it's gotta be you and I've got faith, you'll be fine.

And Adrien is like look, it's only 4 steps, I'll text it to myself. And he texts it to her so he doesn't forget. "Go. Get item. Punch hawkmoth. Come back."

And she laughs and is like okay fine, and hes like we can see if communications work/texting works across different dimensions (turns out it does, he texts her something while hes there) and shes like alright, alright, get going and get it over with. So he does.

And it takes like no time at all (somewhere between 5 minutes and a few hours, but less than what they expected). And as she's bored and nervous waiting for him, she's finally coming to the realization that she might have feelings for him (maybe he said something at the Cafe that made it click that he wasnt just flirting for fun and was like nope, only like this for you, and she'd brushed it off before but now was like oh shit he was being serious. What do I do with this information.) And do when he does come back shes like did you get the item and hes like yup, no sweat (like hes like yeah. Punched other dimension dad and everything, good day, checklist done) and shes like okay great and obviously welcomes him with a shy/abrupt kiss and he just rolls with it because he knew she'd realize it one of these days and she nibbles his lip a little bit in the kiss to test it out I guess and then

Bam. That's basically where I remember the dream ending.

It kind of swept into another ML dream scene but I don't remember it at all now.

Anyway someone feel free to go write that because it probably won't be me lol.

I am being so serious when I say: if you have the financial and time privilege to get a group of friends together and make an indie project, PLEASE do. Indie games, indie animations, indie comics etc etc

the art industries are kind of in the shitter. It’s not so much because of AI (though that doesn’t help) but because studios just aren’t hiring people and funding projects anymore. People who’ve been in the industry for decades are finding themselves struggling, and once you have a mortgage or kids it’s harder to do something as risky as making something on your own.

completing projects is hard. it takes a lot of time and effort, and most people can’t afford it. so if you CAN afford to make art, even at the risk of no financial gain, I strongly encourage you to be as resilient as you can. We’re at a point where these industries are not going to turn around by themselves, and waiting for jobs to open up again in order to get experience and portfolio work might not be realistic.

people have been making art and telling stories longgggg before we were getting paid for it, and people aren’t going to stop just because no one has hired them to do so.

for everyone else: support indie artists when you can!!!! That person who made that cool indie game or youtube animation or webcomic might be doing this full time! your support might be the only reason they’re able to keep doing it.

Totk spoilerish thought of the day.

Some of these might be repeat thoughts.

I still haven't beat the game but I've got all the memories and only have 2 main quests left, so I'm at end game. (Haven't finished side quests etc but main story is basically done aside from boss).

The depths scream Twilight realm to me. The color of the.... sky? In the depths. The way there are blue ghost poes reminds me of the spirits when the twilight takes over in Twilight Princess. The colors and patterns of the zonal stuff reminds me of Midna.

The masks of the 4 original sages make me think of the fused shadows from TP, especially because Link's ability in TotK is to FUSE things.

His energy cell looks like the vessel of light from TP.

I feel like the twilight realm / depths/ twili/ interlopers/ zonai are all somehow related and I need someone else to discuss it, because I haven't seen it anywhere on my dash yet lol

Kind of totk spoiler but not really? In their in-game character profiles, they list what "people" they are, so whatever race/ ethnicity I guess?

And Hetsu and Great Deku Tree are listed as Korok... which led to a hilarious train of thoughts ... is Great Deku Tree a giant tree? Or is he secretly just a gigantic korok? Does he have legs? Are all his roots legs? That's a terrifying image if he can just get up and move like some giant wooden spider with hundreds of legs. Can all koroks grow roots and turn into a fullgrown tree? I just imagine a whole forest of great deku trees.

In all honestly I know Great Deku Tree is probably some special Forest guardian magic tree and the koroks are ... whatever they are. But I didnt want to be the only one haunted by spider trees. You're welcome

Had to scroll through my posts to figure out if I posted something and it took forever... I originally intended this to be a method of keeping track of my Fandom art that I don't want to attach to my real life / portfolio but too hard to sort through.... may have to make another blog just for reblogs and go back to using this one purely for my art. So if stuff starts disappearing or looking weird, that's why. I found a ton of old sketchbooks so I'd like to post a lot of them. They may be old and terrible but I still want to document them somewhere to see my progress.

TOTK SPOILER-ISH?

All dragon tears collected, one boss down and almost to the 2nd one, and gave myself only minor, vague spoilers about the final boss, and I don't even know if I want to finish the game at this point? Like I'm sure it's good but between my fear of where the story is going combined with me realizing I'm probably going to get my ass kicked multiple times in the final boss because even minor enemies are hard to deal with and I'm reading that it's way harder than BOTWs final boss... just feeling way less excited.

Finally making progress in TOTK and I am FASCINATED by the story going on. Still early on but I feel like that Charlie Day meme attempting to connect the dots that probably won't make sense the more I unlock. But also my previous guesses have not been disproven entirely yet. Trying to stay spoiler free but also I have no one to discuss theories with so I have to say SOMETHING to get it out of my system.

All I can say is that I've only made it to geoglyph 4 and mind is blown, I am VERY curious now and have like 5 new theories.

Normally i dont make these posts but Ive gotta write it down somewhere. My current thoughts after all the Tears of the Kingdom trailers.... (I haven't seen any leaked artwork and I'm a little rusty on the other games, I haven't played them in a while, but here I go anyway).

1. Whoever this is definitely reminds me of the dragons from Skyward Sword (something about the weird faces, the gold tipped scales, horns, and something on their forehead). The stone necklaces also remind me of the necklace (timeshift stone necklace?) That Old Impa wore in SS

2. Definitely seeing the Twili / Zonai and Sheikah / Zonai connections, also giving me interloper vibes maybe?

A lot of the color combos and gears remind me of Midna. And they way the bot things use arms reminds me of how imp Midna used her hair.

And also Midna's headdress reminds me of the glowing glyphs and the Totk logo. Her skirt has the red lines underneath the design which... looking at now gives me malice type vibes. I also feel like I've seen the tattoo on her leg somewhere else but can't recall where, now.

3. And the mirror of twilight from TP and Gate of time from SS always reminded me of Midna/ the Twili as well, because of the colors and use of gears. Plus the broken shards you have to collect as part of a side quest in botw that people have speculated to be the mirror of twilight

4. Another catch is that Zelda matches whatever ancient robot this is - her earrings match its shoulders and her headpiece matches its head/eye thing

Also somewhere in the trailer there is a floating ship... and SS definitely had some robot pirate. I dont necessarily think that is connected but found it interesting.

So all that. Plus naming it TEARS of the Kingdom when Twilight Princess was all about Tears of Light and Vessels of Light and Midna breaking the mirror with her tear ..... and then Nintendo holding out on the name because they said it would spoil the game.

Im sure I have ither ideas but I'll stop there. If there isnt a connection to Twilight Princess, I'll be surprised.

Whats this? an update?! A scene from the zelda OC fanfic I'll probably never finish writing but this is a bit of a prologue scene anyway. Nothing actually written for it, just saw a pose and knew it would be perfect. Ignore the ugly hands though, lol.
