kinda uhhhh, thinking about bringing back this hell blog for the first time in years, but I’m stuck between:
bringing pink back
keeping it just art
mixing art with movies/culture stuff
either way, I’m a dumbass for even logging into this account

omg i remember when this was a pink blog
oh man, you and me both
I realized the pink thing wasn’t for me anymore and then I was like and edgy art blog for like a month and then I was like “it’s exhausting to rebrand” so now this blog is such sitting because I give up and all I do now is like listen to podcasts and cry over ffxv on my personal so like that’s life sometimes.
no notes, no new followers, nothing. pure fucking bliss.
Artist specialized in paintings of Chase bank on fire
I love Alex Schaefer impasto works depicting branches of Chase bank going up in flames in daytime. They were from a series by him called “Disaster Capitalism,” and apparently the banks (and cops) would pretend he was planning acts of arson to try and make him stop painting. Slow start this morning
We sailed away on a winter’s day with fate as malleable as clay; but ships are fallible, I say, and the nautical, like all things, fades And I can recall our caravel: a little wicker beetle shell with four fine maste and lateen sails, its bearings on Cair Paravel O my love, O it was a funny little thing to be the ones to’ve seen. The sight of bridges and balloons makes calm canaries irritable; they caw and claw all afternoon: “Catenaries and dirigibles brace and buoy the living-room – a loom of metal, warp - woof - wimble.“ And a thimble’s worth of milky moon can touch hearts larger than a thimble.
