Thank you for all the love and dedication that went into Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory. Parts of the community came together to recreate this moment between two beloved characters.
Yasmina and Sammy offer something rarely shown in [kids/YA] media:
a well written queer & normalised relationship, treated with care and complexity.
And as a personal message:
Both Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory mean a lot to me, especially Yasmina and Sammy. They managed to bring back my passion for drawing which I thought I had lost years ago.
The show arrived too late for me to guide me through my queer journey. But it brings me so much joy to know that is helped a lot of young people on their journey, the way it would have probably helped my younger self.
