Hey guys! Still alive. I haven’t opened my laptop since December, using one of the bf’s laptops and once I remember the login for Eddie on that laptop, it’s over for all of you lol
Me reading 11/22/63 and being very pleased at the little cameo. I knew about it but still, divine lol
Hey guys! This alive! Hoping to open my laptop soonish. I also started antidepressants, so I’ve been lying in bed/on the couch for days with nausea lololol but I haven’t abandoned you guys!
Me: this is my least favourite album but the cardigan is pretty. But also don’t worry about it mom, I know how much they are
My mom:
Just learned James Ransone is dead. I’m just like… whaaaat. That sucks so hard.
Used to be. Huh. Interesting. Finn wondered if the stranger was a floater like him, someone perpetually just passing through every couple of meals. Even if he wasn't, a fucked up town seemed to be a good cover for him.
Fucked up towns usually were, in his experience.
He backed up slightly at the look from the stranger; he could hold himself in a fight, but this wasn't his turf. No matter if both of them weren't permanent, the one who was here first did have first claim, and Finn didn't want a fight so soon after coming into town. Again.
"I'm dead." Might as well be honest. "I mean, I'm a vampire, but you have to be dead to get there." His fangs appeared in the moonlight as he spoke; he began to circle the stranger, pure curiosity taking hold.
"What are you?"
A vampire.
Well, that was surprising. But then again, was it?
Considering what Eddie had become after his encounter with the clown - what he was sure he was still becoming - anything could be real.
"Yeah. You smell dead." Not all that appetizing. Then again, he could understand why IT went after fear because that smelled the best. He could understand a lot of things that the clown did -- understand, but didn't want to do himself.
"Not entirely sure," he then answered. He never knew what Pennywise was, and even though he could feel this thing inside him growing and becoming a part of him forever, Eddie had no idea how to explain it. "Maybe something dead as well, but it doesn't feel that way." The Deadlights were muffled inside him, that much he could feel. He was pretty sure they were slowly gaining strength again, and when that happened, would Eddie even exist anymore. "What do I smell like?"
@hearsthephone [ WITNESS ] (specifically for the vampire!verse)
When he was hungry, really hungry, Eddie let his instincts drive him. Normally he would try not to be as much of a monster as he knew he now was, but sometimes he allowed himself to fall completely down the rabbit hole.
He hadn't been a vampire for too long, so it was easy for him to completely lose himself in his hunger. Which meant not realizing what or who else could be around him.
Only when blood was dripping from his lips, a freshly drained body dropped to the ground, did he realize there were eyes on him. Even in this dark New York alley.
Slowly, he turned to look over. There was still nothing but a predator in his eyes.

If Eddie knew anything about surviving these situations, he knew he had to keep the fuck quiet.
Then again, Eddie tried not to be in these kind of situations at all, so he was kicking himself for it.
Hands were over his mouth as the disgusting scene unfolded in front of him, and he shut his eyes tight. As if that would be able to wipe the scene from his head. He wasn't stupid: if he made a noise he was sure to be next. Still, he could practically hear his hear pounding in his ears, and he was beginning to fear that whatever that thing was could hear it too.
okay guys, here i am. will i write tonight? hope so lol but my body is a bit lazy. but i want to do all the things after that finale.

well, got an extremely part time job for now lol better than nothing. waiting on a carpentry entry class kind of thing. so we'll see how things go from here lol
it can taste his fear, even though it is almost a miniscule morsel. humans, it has learned, tend to get braver with age and it seems little eddie is no exception. but he is not entirely immune to fear. nothing is, it supposes.
not even itself, as it had learned 27 years ago. the defeat and early hibernation leaves a bitter taste in its gaping maw. it watches him still from the shadows, a predator gauging its chances against prey that could be dangerous.
"i don't have to eat you, silly boy...." it croons. its head rises slowly from the discolored water behind him. long arms dangle like puppets with strings cut. its golden eyes bare down upon him, ancient and malicious.
"i can still rip you apart limb from limb, yeah?"
He knew there was movement; Eddie was a predator in his own right now, and he could tell when someone or something around him was moving. In this case, IT was toying with him.
"I find that to be a pretty easy task nowadays." No, Eddie hadn't simply tore someone apart to do so, but he had torn into plenty of flesh by now. It wasn't something he wanted to be, or something he wanted to do, but it was how he survived now, and sometimes it was extremely easy to lose himself in the hunt once he allowed the predator in him to come out.
"I was a fast kid," he spoke up, taking a few steps forward as he kept his eyes peeled. "I'm faster now." He spun around quickly, reaching to grab at the clown as his eyes reflected the vampirism in him, his own fangs dropping.
fascinating.
it had expected changes, of course. things always changed so quickly in the brief- well, brief to its lifespan -rest. but this was something a bit more drastic than getting older, getting married, having kids.
it hadn't seen, or tasted one of these for that matter, in a long time. the smell of popcorn and something mildew-y wafts down the maze of tunnels. the waters ripple and shift, like some unseen shark is drifting beneath the waves, waiting to show its fin.
"edddddiiieeee..." the voice sings from far away, yet right next to him. "how you've grown. how you've changed."
Of course. Popcorn, the circus. Classic clown.
Hearing the voice slowly coming down the tunnels, Eddie turned his head in one direction to make sure IT wasn't right behind him. His eyes, in the dark, looked as if a blue light reflected off of them, creating the same look that even IT's eyes could in the darkness. A low growl rumbled in the back of his throat as he pushed on.
There didn't seem to be any point in holding back his nature.
"Oh, I've changed," he confirmed. Clearly the clown could sniff it out, so why deny it? Eddie would be lying if he said he didn't have a little bit of fear within him. After all, it had been a traumatic experience as a child, and although he was now more of a monster than he used to be, the memories simply didn't fade away. "Not entirely sure I'd taste very good now." Just a guess, really. He had no idea what might happen here.
