Osaka just picks up GIR, puts him on her shoulder, then gets back to makin tacos. She presses the intercom again. "COME EAT! I'M NOT MAKING ANYTHING ELSE TIL TONIGHT." She looks to the monitor in the kitchen that shows everything in the dining room.

"Whendidyougethere!?" Did Rina write the love letter or did Ken? How can she be sure which at this point? She needs time to think. "Ineedtogomakemoretacos!" and she skitters off to the kitchen, a blush on her face.

Before Osaka was able to finish her announcement, the little robot ran into the room screaming in happiness. Â âTACOS!â Â The robot quickly hugged Osaka as his master quickly ran into the room after him.
âGreetings, evil hyuuman in charge of foodstuffs. Â I AM ZIM.â
âAnd Iâm the KING OF TACOS!â
âThat is GIR. Â HE IS MY MINION.â
GIR looked up in awe at Osaka. Â âYOU MAKE FOOD? Â I MAKE WAFFLES! Â Weâz gonna be good friends~ Â WHO WANTS A HUG?â Â The robot held his arms out, and Zim only facepalmed at the display.
Osaka didn't seem to catch the part where she was called evil, too busy having a tiny robot hug her. "Huh? Oh. I'm Ayumu." She then seems confused. "He's royalty and a minion. So..." She looks down to GIR. "He conquered your kingdo--Oh. I like waffles. We should make waffles later. We can put bacon and eggs and grits and sausage and syrup and bananas in em! ALL THE BREAKFAST! ... Let's do that for dinner!"
Oh god. This meeting should have never happened.

Oh, rightâŚHe was back on this stinky pig planet again.
Zim was already playing with one of the breaker boxes on the side of the house, trying to figure out the stupid primitive earthen devices.
âZim still does not get these STUUUPID creatures.â
âThey make tacos!~  Can we get some tacos, Master?  I MISS MY TACOS!  I NEED THEM!  WHY WONâT THEY GIVE ME TACOS?!  THE TACO LORD WILL BE ANGRY.â Zimâs companion GIR screamed beside him before tripping over another wire and breaking it.  Zim wordlessly fixed the mistake of his robot, used to doing the same at his old base here on Earth.
âIf you want some tacos, fine. Â We shall find you some. Â FOLLOW ZIM.â Â Zim crossed his arms and started marching back into the main part of the mansion, not even worried what other people would think when they saw him. Â Heck, he wasnât even paying attention to anyone around him. This place was just another stupid earth place filled with smelly worm-babies.
In the kitchen is Osaka. Standing there, trying to think of what to make. And then she overhears a voice outside the kitchen scream for tacos. From the kitchen comes a response of, "If you want tacos, you got it!"
Osaka takes some soft tacos and hard tacos, then puts some sour cream, nacho cheese, taco seasoned beef, chicken, and steak, and doesn't even bother with vegetables. She sprinkles on some bits of bacon at that. She eats one herself right quick, then walks over to a little intercom.
"WE GOT TACOS! AND I'M TOO LAZY TO MAKE ANYTHING ELSE, SO EAT THEM WHILE THEY'RE HOT!"
Y-YOU! STAY AWAY FROM ME! AND KEEP THAT SLUG AWAY TOO!
[It was bad enough that she had to wear this stupid maid outfit. But now AYUMU CHAN WAS HERE?! WORST DAY EVER!]
Weird. Rina was never that averse to her. She couldn't have changed that much in a year, could she? Wait! No! It makes total sense! Rina is being a tsundere! She'd never admit to having written that letter. Maybe it's also her way of making Osaka make the first move, because Rina's shy?
"Rina. I have a job to do. I'll be in the kitchen if you need anything. After all, I will be making all the food until new chefs get hired." Hired. She knows nothing about being trapped here apparently. "If you really want to talk, you're free to follow, I suppose."
There. If she wants to play hard-to-get, two can play at that game.

Blink-blink. Considering the Mistress never even told Osaka why she was here, she actually has no idea that it was said Mistress who sent the love letter. And seeing Rina here, well.
"You?" So... Rina finally got over her dead boyfriend and confessed to her?
"Well. Okay. I mean, you went through all this trouble. And it's not like I didn't want to before. So, I mean..."
Ken only sighs as she plays with his digivice, though the second it is held in his direction, he pulled it away from her. He stood up and put his backpack on his back, thankful Wormmon was spending the day away so he could actually use the bag, and pushed a few buttons, returning the menus back to the way they were and stopping the distress signal Osaka had managed to turn on.
It was strange, at times Ken compared her to a really scary child, and sometimes Ken compared her to a normal child, and rarely did he ever think of her as someone older than him. âYou lead the way to the phone shop. Iâll just follow behind and give advice, okay?â His eyes were still on his digivice for a few more seconds, making sure the distress signal was off and the menus were back to normal before reattaching it to his hip.
Osaka takes Ken's hand and walks right next to him on her way out of the library. She continues to stroll through the campus, idly yawning. Her head seems to be somewhere else entirely at the moment.
"Hehe. Pigtails." is all she says as she keeps on walking.
Once she gets to the street, she narrowly dodges getting hit by a car, which she doesn't seem to notice. She keeps on trying to make her way to the store. But she is going the right way. If she's been there once, apparently her body knows where it's going. At the next car, she reflexively side-steps it, just as she does all the light poles and mailboxes and such, easily dodging them all with a light yawn, blank look still on her face. And then she stops, shakes her head a bit, and looks up. "Oh yea. Shopping for phones~" She looks to the side. "Oh! And Ken's here too! Yay!" She hugs him again, then walks inside. She then looks back to him. "...So, what should I get?"
âThatâŚisnât a phone.â He explained slowly, but let her push buttons to her hearts content. With Wormmon not here, and the digivice only working for him, he wasnât too worried. She was just managing to pull up menus in the Digimon language.
âItâs a digivice. Itâs kind of my key to get into and out of the digital world, and what helps Wormmon stay in this world when he comes here. Do you want to go look at phones now?â He was already putting his stuff away, though taking his eyes off Osaka while she held onto something that important was likely not a good idea.
Osaka keeps playing with the menus. ... One good thwack against the table and she issues an, "I fixed it!" The menu is now in Japanese... How the hell did she? She then starts reading things. "Oooh. So that's what that means." The digivice has more or less a pokedex feature, which she uses to look at some of the digimon Ken has encountered. "Neat." She then holds it up to him. "I don't know what that blinky thingy means. It looks like it's gonna run out of power soon." Probably because you slammed it against a table, Osaka...
"Anyway! Phones~"
Ken slightly hugged back when Osaka hugged him, he was half expecting it. He knew he needed to expect anything with her aroundâŚâYeah. Iâll teach you. No problem.â
Digivices were still more complicated than smartphones. He had one of those too, but it was just for his parents to contact him. He preferred the familiarity of the d-terminal for his other friends. âYou want to meet my friends?â Ken asked curiously, tilting his head slightly to show his confusion.
Not sure how that would work outâŚIf his friends had ever questioned his sanity during the adventure in the digital worldâŚhow would they react to her?
Ken wasnât sure if his brain could hold the insanity Osaka was spouting out, but he tried anywaysâŚUntil she fell on him. He caught her and held onto her for a moment before slipping her off of him and glancing at the chair. âYouâŚshould be more careful. You could have hit your head.â Or hurt KenâŚbadlyâŚ
Osaka sits back up, then gets back in her chair. Careful? "I'll try." Osaka doesn't do careful! People who carry knives around without thinking about it are not careful...
"What to do for a phone then..." She then reaches out and swipes his digivice. "What brand is this one? It looks pretty. A little girly though."She just starts poking random buttons.
âShouldâŚhave sleptâŚâ Great, heâs breaking again. âSleptâŚwith Daisuke?â
Remember your breathing, Ken. She just doesnât know what sheâs talking about. If his face could turn any more red, it would end up purple. He tried to hide his face from his friend using his hair. âIâŚThat wouldnât haveâŚWormmon and Veemon didâŚbutâŚâ
Ken didnât hear the rest of what she said, because Osaka spouting knowledgeable things might have killed him at that moment. His face was still red, and he couldnât even look over at her.
He did finally start trying to respond though. âWormmon goes back every so often. Thatâs where he is now.â Ken nodded, still not looking at Osaka. âIf you want, I can go help you find a phoneâŚâ There, change the subject and keep up with her insanity. The redness was finally starting to disappear. âI keep up with my old friends using emails. Maybe get you a phone set up where you could email your old friends?â
Ken finally smiled at her, the blush finally nothing more than an tint on his face. âSure. All technology on earth comes from the aliens.â If he spoke down to her on her level, maybe she would stop bringing up the embarrassing things and take hold of the things he could handleâŚLike aliens creating ChristmasâŚ
Osaka doesn't notice the blush on Ken's face. She just listens to the part of Wormmon being in the digital world. "See? He does go back home sometimes. It's good for him." And then at the offer of taking her to buy a phone, she suddenly hugs him.
"Yay! You'll teach me how to use all that fancy stuff, right?" ... "Maybe we can take a vacation. We can meet each other's friends and stuff~" with a wicked yet innocent smile.
"... Actually," She starts to idly rock in her chair, "The aliens edited the DNA of prehistoric mankind who then learned how to use basic tools on their own due to the newly acquired brain capacity. Who then later came back and taught them things like geometry, astronomy, physics, and other math-based things, thus fostering the humans to create their own technology based upon what they were taught and later learned on their own based upon the alien's foundation. ... Aside from the use of reverse-engineering technology that did come directly from them."
 She then keeps rocking in her chair until she falls onto him.
âBack at home.  I used to spend the night with my friend Daisuke.  But it was never in the same bed.â  He tried to explain.  âReally, people look down on things like that, Ayumu-san.  Sleeping with a half-naked girl.  And you make it sound likeâŚmore happened than what did.â
Kenâs blush only got deeper the more she went on.  âW-Wormmon is used to sleeping with meâŚso yeah, Iâm sure he wanted in with us.â
âIâm not crazy.â Â Ken made sure to emphasize the not. Â âThe digital world is a real place. Â It exists inside computers. Â Yeah, itâs where Wormmon comes from. Â I go there every so often, but living there isnât really something I could consider doing. Â Iâm not really remembered as a good person there, and itâs just too dangerous.â
Ken almost didnât respond to the last statement. Â âDid you just call Santa an alien? Â And presents injections?â Â Donât try to explain the crazy, Ken. Â No mater what she says, she isnât normal.
"You should have slept in the same bed with him then. He wouldn't think it was weird. That's what friends do." Right? "...Like more than what happened?" Nope. It never dawned on her. She still doesn't get it. "What else could have happened?"
"Not crazy-crazy. Just schizophrenia with voices in your head and dissociative personality disorder when another personality takes over~ Not like you can hallucinate wormmon. Not unless you managed to slip something funny in my drink every day."
"I didn't say live there. But it would be nice for Wormmon to go visit his home every once in a while. I should probably go visit my old school at some point. I really need a phone too. I haven't talked to anyone since I came here, actually."
"Yes. Santa is made up of multiple aliens with various technologies. And Jesus is the first alien-human hybrid who was created through artificial insemination. And the bright star was a space ship. And the aliens needed gold, frankincense, and mer for their ship."
"I'm kidding. Everyone knows that it's just a pagan tradition of celebrating the winter solstice. A time that the aliens told us about through teaching us elaborate astronomy and the ability to use calendars." Osaka? Crazy? Naaah. Totally normal.
âItâs complicated.â  Ken took a deep breath, remembering who he was talking to and trying to not freak out over knowing someone else knew about that night.  âFriendsâŚCAN sleep together.  But itâs normally two people of the same gender, and itâs not really the same bed, just the same room.  Remember that night in Rinaâs room?  Thatâs a good example.â  He nervously laughed.
âAnd my parents put me though therapy after the incident. Â It was next to impossible to get anyone to understand what I went though. Â Even with Wormmon there, they refused to believe anything but me being insane when I brought up the digital world and the dark seed.â Â Ken crossed his arms and glanced at the table where he had hit his head earlier.
âAliens are real.  They just werenât in my bedroom that night.â  Ken mumbled slightly, hoping to move to a somewhat moreâŚnormalâŚtopic to have with the crazy girl that haunts him even in sleep.
Osaka still doesn't get it. "But you don't have any any boyfriends that I'm aware of. That's not fair at all. Besides. I would sleep with you and Rina all the time if I could." There she goes again.
"And I like being ontop of you. You were nice and warm. Especially since I was still kind of cold from being almost naked." It just doesn't stop... "I think Wormmon wanted to sleep with us too though. We should have let him. He's like a teddy-bear when his face is in my chest." DAMN IT, OSAKA.
-- And then the subject shifts again. "Well, you are crazy. They should have done something about it." crossing her arms. "Besides. If Wormmon was there and they still didn't believe you, I don't think they're all that smart..." ... "So, this digital world that Wormmon's from. Why don't you go back?"
"The aliens really like cookies. They even come around this time of year to bring gifts of different injections in our sleep while they celebrate their first artificial insemination of a human-alien hybrid~"
Ken practically lived in a textbook, so the idea of doing all his work at once was an awful thought. Â
ThatâŚHAD to come up at such a loud volume, didnât it.
âKeep that to yourself!â  Ken blushed and looked away.  âYouâre saying it wrong.  We didnâtâŚsleep together.  WeâŚWeâŚâ  He didnât even know how to put it and not make it sound dirty.  âUmâŚâ
âI donât know.â  Ken finally said after a minute of not being able to find any words at all.  âButâŚDonât worry about picturesâŚMe and Wormmon have talked about his picture taking problems.  Heâs just trying to prove to everyone I have friends or somethingâŚâ  More like heâs trying to embarrass Ken to death because he likes seeing Ken blushâŚâD-Defiantly not aliens.â
Oh, not so innocent but incredibly oblivious Osaka~
"Huh? I don't get it. Friends sleep together, right? Besides, I already told Winry. Besides, what else would you call laying on top of you in a bed?" Nope. She doesn't get the double-meaning.
"Oh. Is that way? I don't know why it'd be hard for you to make friends. You're nice and funny and smart and try really hard to help people. You just yell a lot when you get angry and should really talk to a therapist about your psychotic breakdowns and the voices in your head. That's about it. Not everybody can be normal like me."
"So, anyway. About those aliens."
âHuh?â  Ken glanced over at Osaka, blinking a few times.  Oh, lovely nightmare.  Why was she in them again?  Think, Ken.  Readjust to your settingâŚ
âOh, Hi Ayumu-san.â  Ken blinked again and rubbed his face.  âIâŚwas just sleeping?â  No, that octopus with Osakaâs face was real.  It was likely a digimon of some sortâŚprobably of the Kaiserâs making.
Quick, subject change!  Kenâs sleep-deprived mind searched around for a minute before glancing back at Osaka.  âI havenât seen you around for a whileâŚWhat have you been up to?â  Other than haunting Kenâs nightmaresâŚ
"I was working on projects." Osaka skips class most of the time. She hardly does homework. But ever since she failed a bunch of stuff at her old school, she's...kind of tried more. She just kind of gets certain moods in which finishes a semester's worth of assignments in like a week all at once, even if half of it's a month or two late. And then she stops again...
And then she just says obliviously at a volume that anyone walking by can hear...
 "I haven't seen ya since we slept together. I woulda called or somethin, but I still don't have a phone, remember?" Once again, it's not that she doesn't have the money--she just wouldn't know how to use one unless someone taught her.
"Oh. I think Wormmon might have taken pictures after we fell asleep. I don't know. You'll have to talk to him about it. But I remember a few bright flashes in my sleep. Pretty sure it wasn't the aliens that time."
Donât freak out, Ken.  Deep breaths.  Remember: You must show her dominance, then she will have to listen to youâŚ
âGET IT OFF. Â GET IT OFF.â

"Ken... You shouldn't fall asleep in the library. Your face slammed into the table pretty hard when you passed out."

OsakaâŚLurking means to exist unperceived or unsuspected. Thus, by becoming Osaktopus, you are not lurking. I think the correct phrase isâŚâYouâre doing it wrongââŚ
And then the Osaktopus latches onto Ken's face. Inconspicuously. Like a brain-slug. Except on his face.
