scenarios to
meet your s/o !
1. you have a specific spot at somewhere you frequentβperhaps the window seat in class, the quiet corner at a cafΓ©, or a specific study room at the local library. randomly, a random stranger starts appearing there before you. after a while of "i was here first"s, the two of you decide to share the space instead.
2. you have a party animal friend that happens to be their friend as well. the two of you always end up alone somehowβmaybe you run into each other at that one balcony, or an empty room, or finding yourselves reaching towards the same condiment. at some point, one of you finally gets the courage to start a conversation.
3. there's an assignment for pairs of twos, and you two are assigned together. your project ends up being so impressive the two of you start being assigned together continuously. they seem to like you, and everyone tells you they like you, but you just can't be sure until you're paired with someone else and they blow up.
4. the two of you are polar opposites in an infamous way: although you don't even know each other (aside from maybe seeing each other peripherally at times), people unanimously agree you'd have insane chemistry. someone finally takes up the job of being your matchmaker, and chaos ensues.
5. you live with your parents, who love to take care of people in your community. they move in next door. the rest is self-explanatory: your parents force the poor neighbor into your life. (extra points if you live in an apartment building.)
6. you're chronically online, and keep coming across someone with absolute garbage opinions on your feed, and they are anonymous because of course they are. some day, out of nowhere, this person replies to a comment you've made, so the two of you start bickering in the comments. then it happens again. and again.
7. you just moved somewhere new, and you decide to check out a store that's been catching your eye for a while. in there, you find something you've been looking for since before this move, and you can't help but get visibly excited until you see a local watching you with a smile.
8. the people you call friends force you into karaoke at a public space (which how dare they), and so you sing your little heart out to a bunch of strangers. your friends decide to do another round, you sit to wait and notice someone at another group glancing your way.
