'Tis the season…..for wintery 4*Town content. I’ve been busy with Uni so don’t mind how sketchy these all look but I’ve been itching to draw these boys again :)))

Its a bit all over the place so I’ll walk you through it

So at the top we have Jesse smoking because that’s a hc of mine for some reason 🤷‍♀️ It’s a bad habit of his, he’s not proud of it and he tries to keep it hidden from the others

He’s unfortunately caught by Tae one time and have a bit of a talk about stress, expectations and Jesse does feel better afterwards

Then on the right we have the gang huddled outside, waiting for their tour bus in the cold. And I’m not from Canada but I know winters are brutal over there so I drew them all in matching puffer coats to keep warm because of course I would :)

And Tae is wearing a fluffy pink faux fur hat because that just makes sense ☝️

Furthermore he’s taking care of his doves and cuddling them in their pen he had built, even when it’s freezing cold. Poor guy fell asleep and had the others worried sick looking for him.

He caught a cold the day after but is luckily coddled by his bandmates (as he should be)

And another hc of mine is that Jesse is an insomniac so he gets tired during the day and leans on the others to rest for a little bit

Last but not least we have Tae and Aaron T. building a red panda snowman in honor of the unforgettable night they all had performing in Toronto 🐾

Agghh my Y2K 4*TOWN post hit 300 notes recently, I can't believe it!!! Thank you sooo much 🤍🤍🤍

I wanted to post a 2.0 version as soon as I hit the 300 but I l've been so busy ;_; I have more free time now so I hope I can post more :)

But alas, here's 4* TOWN in some alternate Cyber Y2K outfits, this time very monochrome and a bit more sporty. As you can maybe tell, some of them have a change of hair 👀

This layout is supposed to be reminiscent of a Magazine spread so ladded a bit of text, which was quite fun!

In my mind these two spend a lot of time being all artsy together (the manga confirmed it too!)

Taeyoung gets really shy when Jesse asks him to model for his sketches. Of course the older is nothing if not reassuring and encouraging :)

I drew up some 4*Town in Y2K/ Cyber Y2K clothes since I can’t get the idea out of my head. They’d have like a really fun futuristic MV (similar to ‘larger than life’ by the Backstreet Boys). Honestly I wish any kind of proper music video existed for them :(

Anyways Jesse is definitely harder to draw than Taeyoung, you have to nail that dreamy look in his eyes at all times☝️

Drawing these two is really fun! I tried to portray Taeyoung looking at Jessie as if he hung the moon in the sky because I love the idea of him being infatuated with the older boy.

I have more 4TOWN headcanons >:)

Robaire is the charming one, everyone likes him, he’s just a really cool guy

Perfectly fits the leader role: he’s level headed, humble and considerate but strict when he needs to be (he’s usually the one who has to reel in Aaron T.)

Very educated, always willig to try and learn new things, whether it be about languages, music or art

Him and Aaron Z. like to hang out somewhere quiet and do their own things as they don’t need to talk to enjoy each others company

Aaron Z is the mysterious brooding bad boy and a bit quiet and stand-offish, seemingly too cool for everything

He’s actually just misunderstood and like really chill, even shy. He’s definitely the most quiet during interviews and prefers to just listen to the others talk

Has a bit of trouble expressing himself properly which is also part of the reason he doesn’t talk that much

He’s very tall, befitting for someone who plays basketball

Jessie is the heartthrob of the group, a soft boy™ (also kind of prince charming vibes from Shrek lmaoo but I swear I actually really like Jessie)

He cares a lot about his appearance , so he has a lot of hair products, plucks his eyebrows and work out regularly

Veery flirty; he flirts with the camera, with hosts and with his bandmates. He loves to compliment others or touch them just to see the reaction he gets

Also the most controversial one as he has had the most scandals involving ex lovers etc. He tends to be kind of a playboy and his relationships don’t last that long

When he’s frustrated he either vents to Taeyoung or locks himself up in an atelier for a few hours and paints or does pottery

Taeyoung is an absolute sweetheart and very adorable. (Lots of Aegyo) He gets babied by the others even though he’s almost 18 y/o (Aaron Z in particular seems to have a soft spot for him because he finds him very cute but he also kind of envies Taeyoungs emotional maturity)

Because of his love for fostering I’d imagine that he takes on a bit of a caregiver role in the group, he has a very positive aura that makes people gravitate towards him, so the others usually come to him when they’re not in a good mood, he doesn’t judge them and is very understanding

affectionate with his bandmates, loves to hold their hands, hug them, or give compliments, which leaves the others a bit flustered (they’re not used this much open affection due to their cultural difference)

Has a lengthy skincare routine and loves to experiment the most with style, makeup and hair colors

He’s also the most open with his emotions and feelings, so when he’s sad he has no problem with crying or when he’s really excited he gets all giddy

He may or may not have a huge crush on Jessie because Jessie is a huge flirt and Tae is a hopeless romantic.

Also i think Taeyoung would be born in Korea and move to Canada at a later point, so he would feel homesick sometimes and miss his family (the others are there to comfort him of course)

Aaron T is the jokester of the group, very goofy, he has that boyish charm to him.

The moodmaker of the group, when the others are down he always stays light hearted

In interviews he is very chaotic and loud

Definitely likes to skateboard

Loves to take candid photos of the others for future blackmail

Him and Aaron Z. make for an unlikely pairing but they somehow make it work and T somehow manages to rope Z into his schemes all the time (it’s also really fun for T to tease Z because it’s so easy)

They definitely play video games together as well

Also a little visualization because I literally have no life (and I clearly didn’t put that much thought into certain dynamics)

Because I like to suffer I wrote a lengthy 4TOWN piece on how I think the group would break up…

Also disclaimer; Jessie is kind of the “villain” in this so if you don’t like that, this sadly isn’t for you

Also possibly ooc (and I didn’t really read up on any of the released info about them after the movie came out)

In typical early 2000s boyband fashion one of the members has to leave the group to pursue a solo career. Most people believe that Robaire would leave because he shows the most potential as a soloist, being very talented and versatile as well as charming( also being propped up by their agency the most and being the the center of attention at all times) This has lead to some resentment and envy in one particular member.

Jessie had always been someone who was meant to be on stage, he has the showmanship, the talent (the looks) and most importantly the love for the limelight that comes with being a star. So he was vastly disappointed when Robaire was made the frontman of the group. He wanted to be in Robaires position and he wanted to be appreciated by the record label. His fans have shown him so much love that he has started to question if there was an alternative to being in 4Town.

This is why he is the one who brings up that he wants to go solo. (And he is partially justified to want a way out of an agency that very obviously favors one particular member and offers him the most opportunities to). After a long stressful day of performing all of them hang out in a lounging room and Jessie and Robaire end up bickering with each other.

At one point Jessie passive aggressively attacks Robaire only to then drop the bombshell of an announcement. The others are a little stunned at his proposal, they were aware that their agency was pretty shitty when it came to equal distribution but to outright say that he wanted to leave the group came completely out of left field.

Jessie directly confronting Robaire wasn’t actually that surprising as there was always a bit of tension between him and Robaire. Jessie liked to provoke things, take things a bit too far and Robaire thought that Jessie laid it on too thick, and was atotal showoff and playboy. In short: their personalities clashed. The underlying tension bubbling up was finally being released, the long day of work making all of them even more irritable. The others desperately try to prevent the altercation from spiraling out of control even as it gets louder and messier. Jessie gets very personal and a bit nasty, directly insulting Robaire.

Aaron Z usually keeps to himself and tries to stay out of their petty drama but this is obviously a huge deal so he chimes in as well(he speaks up when it matters and, because he is pretty close with Robaire, he defends their leader). Taeyoung is the one who tries to pacify the situation, its a lot and he just wants everybody to get along and calm down. Aaron T would be in shock, he doesn’t know how to react or what to do, that’s it for him lmaoo

The night ends with nothing resolved and the members just being drained. The following days aren’t any less stressful and it’s a slow grueling process that deeply divides the members….

And I really didn’t feel like writing any further but I think you get the idea
