WANDERLAND 2014
WANDERLAND is a music and arts festival in the Philippines. It's unofficially the Coachella of Manila filled with indie band performances, live art, food, and fashion.
It was held last May 17, at the Circuit events ground. I'm so glad I went to Wanderland because I'm sure I'd regret it if I didn't. I went with my boyfriend and we really had a good time together. It was definitely one for the books!
They did an awesome job with the carnival theme. There were carnival games, cotton candy booths, rides, men on stilts, mimes, and a lot more.
Words cannot express my love for Wanderland. The bands were simply amazing! The Royal Concept, The Drums and Last Dinosaurs were my personal favorites. I still have a Wanderland hangover and I can't stop playing their songs until now.
Wanderland 2014 was beyond amazing. My photos didn't give justice to how great the festival was. Nonetheless, see you guys at the Wanderland Camp 2015! :)
Green hair, don't care
Lol kidding. I've always wanted to try some crazy colors on my hair but I just can't since it isn't allowed in my school. I just tried if this color would suit me, and I guess it did? No? Okay. I'm planning to dye my hair green or pastel pink after my summer class. Perfect for summer! I just realized that I'm not getting any younger. I should try different things while I'm still young (am I?) because I won't be able to do these things when I get older and start working (I think no one likes a green-haired architect).
ANAWANGIN COVE
Last April 2-3, we went on a whim and decided to go on a spontaneous trip to Anawangin Cove. I’ve always wanted to go there but due to lack of time and not enough people to join me, it never pushed thru. Most of my friends weren’t available at that time so Miko, Paolo (my usual adventure buddies) and I decided to go even it’s just the 3 of us. Glad we did!
We passed by Camara and Capones Island before heading to Anawangin. We had a buwis buhay climb up to Capones lighthouse’s peak but the view made it all worth it!
Anawangin is such a nice place where you can relax. Who would have thought that the beautiful Anawangin Cove was made by a disaster a couple of decades ago? It has no electricity and cellular signal so you will really be one with nature. There were also no hotel accommodations so setting up a tent is your only option. We set up our tent, cooked our own food, and enjoyed the clear waters of Zambales. At night, we had our bonfire set up. It was such a great experience to just relax and be with your friends while drinking ice-cold beer.
When it's time to go home, we all agreed that this trip is the most ‘sulit’ trip ever. I will definitely come back with the rest of my friends! :)
Estimated budget (with own car)
P750/head (3 pax) - Island hopping, overnight fee. This includes a tent, cooler with ice, utensils, and 5 gallons of water. The more you are in a group, the cheaper it gets.
P200/head - food. I suggest you bring your own food to save money.
P200++ - Toll fee

This is our 3rd Valentine's day together and 2nd as a legit couple. I'm so thankful to have this guy. Thank you for the flowers, the hedgehog stuffed toy (Hedgie has a friend now! Lol), the dinner, and for just simply celebrating that special day with me. I love you! ♥ *cheese overload*
JAPAN-HK 2013
Japan Day 1
We had an educational trip to Japan and Hongkong last January 25th to the 30th. It was a really awesome experience. I've been wanting to go to Japan and I'm thankful that my parents allowed me to go to this trip. This is also my first time to go abroad without them.
On our first day, we visited the town of Kyoto. It was the old capital of Japan that's why you could really see the rich culture and history of Japan in this place. It was such a beautiful city :)
Old GSIS Building (SketchUp + Photoshop)
I tried rendering the existing building from our past plate (Got lazy to do the high-rise part hehe). Well, I'm kinda frustrated when it comes to night rendering. Putting lights in Vray (or any rendering program) just takes too much time. For this reason, I decided to try rendering by using only photoshop. First time to try this method, and I guess it worked (sort of?)
Lol pardon my rendering skills. I'm still in the process of practicing :)

On a different note, I'll try to blog about my past trip to Japan and Hongkong soon!

Korea 2012
I spent a week of my semestral break in South Korea last October 23 to 28. It was a really fun experience for me and my family since it's our first time to go there. We had different hotels per day to save time rather than travelling back and forth to one hotel. It was super tiring but all worth it.

'Til next time, Korea! I hope to see you again soon :)
I missed reading.
First semester had been really tough. I didn't really have the extra time to just sit and read a book. I stalled on reading Fifty Shades Freed (the last book in the Fifty Shades trilogy) which I had been reading since summer I think. Thank God for semestral break, I was able to finish it in two days. I can finally start reading Before I Fall which I borrowed from my friend, Kim. I've been itching to read it since I heard a lot of pretty good reviews about it. Yay for the bum life!
I miss you. I miss you everyday.
