Past!Verse: Atsuko gets sick?
Acchan was waiting anxiously with staff all around her fixing her bangs, refreshing her make up, a staff member handed her a pair of glasses explaining the set list.
Acchan knew her friends were just on the other side of the staff, she could see their heads peeking through and some attempting to wave.
Later, several songs were performed and Acchan had been taken to a private area to wait.
'That's my queue…' With a deep breath Acchan headed into the basement during the MC, the girls were discussing a remake of Majisuka Gakuen and inquiring whether Acchan the 12th would take the role.
Acchan was loaded onto a trap floor panel to be brought up onto the stage. She was handed a mic and the staff all congratulated her. Before she knew it she was being sent up to the stage during their MC.
"MAJIJO! Acchan the 13th will show you the meaning of seriousness!"
Acchan had ended up in the middle of the stage and ran to the front.
"Atsuko Katagiri signing in as Acchan the 13th! LET’S ROCK!"
Majisuka Rock & Roll began to play and Acchan ran to join her friends to romp around on stage.
All of the girls were unable to see Acchan, and by this point, Mariko had gone from worried to beyond annoyed. She just wanted to know how her friend was! She knew she’d annoyed a handful of the staff, but if they’d just hinted at what was going on, she would have calmed down!
When she heard the news that Acchan would return in their next concert, she calmed slightly. Knowing Acchan was backstage made her a bit too curious, and staff shooed her away from the dressing rooms more than once.
"So will Mariko-sama play Sado~?" Smirking lightly, she replied, wondering if anyone liked a sadistic nature - the cheer from the audience assured her that yes, a sadistic side from her was very much wanted. Apart from that, she hung back in the MC - where the heck was Acchan??
When the music started and Acchan arrived, she couldn’t help but beam.
After Majisuka Rock & Roll ended it rolled directly into Iiwake Maybe.
Acchan felt a thrill performing unlike anything she’d ever done before. She felt light as air and such a warmth.
Mariko! I did it! Look at me go!
"Maybe~ Maybe~ Maybe I like you~" Acchan flew through the steps like she never had before, not even in practice for this concert.
Acchan ran to Mariko and hugged her jumping around in a circle during the instrumental break. Acchan gave Mariko a kiss on the cheek and ran back to center just before the lyrics started again.
Acchan remounted her platform and flew around the theatre leaving a trail of stars. At the end she landed back in center stage. The crowd went wild at the end and was deafening in their cheers.
Mariko couldn't stop smiling as Acchan sung, the fans cheering and all eyes on her. Hugging her friend and laughing happily, she released her to let her some more.
As the song came to a close, there was another MC. Usually, the new successor would talk first, but Mariko butted in. "Atsuko... you became Maeda Atsuko!" The crowd cheered and Mariko waited for them to stop. "Acchan... Congratulations!" Again, the crowd went wild and Mariko smiled. "From now on, we'll always perform on the same stage!"
