“Sakura, mi tesorito! Where’s your big Tía’s hug?”

"Tía Rosa~" The little girl was far too happy to dive into Rosa's arms, hugging her happily "I missed you, Tía Rosa."

"Oh no please, don't whip my Papa! I told him I could wait for him here, don't get mad at him!" Sakura pleaded, big purple eyes shining with unshed tears. She didn't like the thought of her Papa being hurt because of her. She was a big girl, she could wait by herself a little while. "I-I wasn't even alone until a moment ago, a friend of Papa was with me, but then he had to leave because he had a meeting or something..."

She nodded when the woman offered to go sit at a nearby bench, taking her hand with only a little hesitation, still hugging her little robot with the other "Uh-uh, Mama's gonna have another child soon and her back's always hurting, she can barely stand up from the couch. I'm gonna be a big sister soon~" The little girl couldn't help a bright, happy smile at the thought "The friend of Papa who was with me a moment ago is gonna be a dad soon too, he's so happy~"

"And my name's Sakura, Sakura Blackquill. What's yours, Miss?"

“Uh-uh~” Sakura chirped happily, swinging her legs back and forth as she sat on Aura’s desk, hugging Clonco like she would a stuffed animal (albeit one made of metal). The little girl was quite enamored with the cute little robot which followed her aunt around.

“Did someone hurt one of Clonco’s friends?”

Wasn’t she the most adorable thing? Oh, yes she was! At least for Aunty Aura’s eyes, that is. Mental note: make her own robot for her birthday… If Simone and his wife allowed it, of course.

But the question brought her momentaneously back to bitter reality.

“Unfortunately yes, sweetheart. Ugh, actually I don’t even want to think about it. Those assho- –.” But then she realized what she was about to say. “- –Oh, oh, oh! Quite the assessment to damage that circuit like that, I’ll tell you. But don’t worry, Clonco’s friend is going to be alright. Think of it as a nap.”

… Pew. Nice save.

"Oh, no..." Sakura whined, her bottom lip trembling cutely. She didn't like it when Clonco's friends got hurt. She hugged Clonco closer at the thought, the robot giving out a happy buzzing sound.

"I hope they get better soon. I'll give them lots of hugs when they wake up~" Sakura loved spending time with Auntie Aura, because even though the woman often had to work even while babysitting her, Sakura would always find some cute little robotic friend ready to play with her. She loved her cute little robotic playmates.

“My hard-working little brother~” Sakura cooed in a display of sisterly affection, ruffling Hinata’s hair. At least he wasn’t so tall that she had to stand on her tiptoes to do so…

“We shall see, little brother, we shall see. Focus on graduating for the time being. We’ll certainly have a chance to fight side by side soon enough.”

“H-Hey, no messing with my hair, please!” he groaned, slightly annoyed as he combed his hair back to the way it was. He gave a nod, smiling at his sister.

“Yeah, you’re right! I’ll do my best, sis!” he gave her a fist pump. “Don’t lock up everyone without me, okay?!” he joked, laughing.

Sakura smiled proudly at her little brother, returning the fist bump.

"Eh, I can't let criminals who deserve proper punishment to go free, but if you do your best you'll be helping me lock criminals up in no time!~"

“Father, are you crying?!” Had she overdone it?!

Simon quickly wiped his tears away, shaking his head.

“N-No… I’m just so proud of you, darling… go on.”

Had Sakura been a bird, her feathers would have puffed up in pride and delight. She loved her father, and knowing he was proud of her (not that the man had ever hidden the fact, quite the contrary) made her happy beyond everything else.

"Aye aye, sir~" She saluted "Usual place for lunch after the trial?"

"It's a good thing, little brother. You know how Mama wears a ring on her finger? Papa gave it to her when he asked her to marry him. That's what a proposal is. Then there's a wedding."

Had Uncle Polly finally popped the question? More importantly, had Auntie Thena said yes? Sakura hoped so. She liked Apollo, he was a really good guy, and Athena deserved someone like him.

"Papa's still working, Hinata. He should be back home soon."

“All right. I’m Detective Hinata Blackquill, trained at the LAPD. I’m in charge of this crime scene. Nice to meet you, I suppose.”

“Please don’t touch anything. I’m not supposed to let defense attorneys investigate, although I’ve never understood why since it’s important to reach the truth.” he shrugged. “…Go ahead. Just don’t get on my bad side, ‘kay? You won’t like it, believe me.”
