I have this passion burning deep within my heart. And when I’m asked about it I come alive. Not many will understand the calling on my life or why my heart burns so deeply for people that might not ever love me in return. But the living God created me for love. He designed me, Katherine Charry to have a heart for those who are never heard of. He designed my feet to touch soil no other feet have touched and to meet people in places no others have gone. I have been uniquely designed to love children and be a mama to many babies. To show them the love of the Father here on earth. What an honor! My heart comes alive as I think of the mud on my clothes, the sun in my face, and the sound of the river. When I close my eyes and smell the air of South America. The smell that reminds my heart, I am home. My heart burns for the simplicity of love and the power of the Holy Spirt. I come alive when sickness is gone and bodies are healed, when the blind can see and the lost are saved. What a beautiful day in heaven when the angels sing out and praise King Jesus when these things happen on earth. My heart was made to bring heaven down to earth in the jungles of South America! I dream of the day when I arrive and touch soil that will be called holy ground. When I take off my shoes and bow to my King, praising Him for choosing me. A sinner, an unworthy, insecure human being. Who has been saved only by His grace to do His work. I am unworthy, yet God has chosen me as His vessel to go out and plant seeds of revival. To go out and show His great love to so many.
Now my question to you… What makes you come alive? What is burning in your heart? What can you not live without? What has The Lord placed in your heart?
My prayer is that you fall so in love with His calling for your life, that NOTHING else matters. That you get to a place where you find yourself saying “I am doing exactly what I know I was put on this earth to do!” And that nothing else satisfies you but HIM, the King of kings.
