Are you insecure?
No? Who told you that?
Who told you that
my favourite bit right now is saying "scientists still don't know" in relation to something I (One Single Scientist) specifically do not know the answer to
you know its telling how few people on the internet actually spend time outdoors in general and around actual gay men in particular
because to hear even Tumblr the "gay gender website" talk people only wear harnesses while strapped into a sex swing while being fisted
but the reality is that the harness, both leather and spandex, in gay male world is like stiletto pumps, a bright red lip stick, a short skirt or push up bra.
sure some people are wearing those things because they're about to get laid or hoping to. But lots of people wear them just to feel sexy, confident or powerful. And there's nothing X rated and "shouldn't be seen in public" about any of that.
lots of gay guys wear harnesses to bars or clubs not because its a sex thing, but because its a sexy thing, they feel attractive and confident.
I get that gay men feeling attractive and confident terrifies people, but if you're at Pride and a guy walks past you in jeans and a harness, either shirtless or over his shirt, he didn't violate your civil rights or do a sex thing in front of you, he's wearing a totally appropriate outside that makes him feel confident and powerful.
grow up, deal.
I own this exact harness and I wear it to play Beyblade. unironically
And you do indeed look very cool and powerful playing Beyblade
12 years old: i was so cringe when i was nine, i'm super mature now though
15 years old: i was so cringe when i was twelve, i'm super mature now though. i'm a totally different person. i'm basically an adult
18 years old: i was so. (trying to be nicer to myself) fifteen. when i was fifteen. i wasn't an adult even a little back then. i'm an adult now though of course
21 years old: i was so newborn fawn taking its first steps when i was 18. i wasn't an adult at 18 i'm barely even an adult now tbh
23 years old: i was so. hey wait the others have all gone up in increments of three why'd it change
23 years old: because i'm still 23 so i can't speak to that experience yet
23 years old: do you think anything will magically change in the next few months to the point where you can't possibly imagine how you'll feel at 24
23 years old: i mean you never know. anything can happen. they're letting people born in 2002 turn 24, for instance
the mold spores in my house speaking to me telepathically: yeah that's perfect now hit post
I was not meant to be a person I was meant to listen to music on the bus

Thinking about a vampire dude bro who won't drink girl blood- because he's afraid it will estroginise him soy products style- getting trapped in a mental cage when he learns vampire dude who only bites other dudes reads as gay

The Philadelphia cops finally having to admit that there is undeniable proof that Eugene (and probably RC) Horsch were preying on and killing women in active addiction in Pennsylvania for at least the past 13 years and they just kinda let it happen.
so cool how advanced the algorithm has become, it literally only takes like a decade or more of spying on all my internet activity and then it can expertly curate a selection of 15-20 youtube videos that i don't really want to watch, and then keep showing me those videos over and over again for a week so i can scroll past them again. the future is now
i suggest whining louder
I do think the Hank Green AI thing makes it abundantly clear that if you have ADHD or any other mental illness and/or you are prone to addiction you need to avoid AI at all costs. This shit will rope you in, and if you have a mental illness that say, starves your brain of dopamine, you're gonna be extra susceptible to that. I won't use AI for a lot of reasons but one of the big ones is knowing how it would fuck with my ADHD and bipolar. Like yes, it's bad for the environment and giving money to rich scumbags and runs on plagarism, but even more than all that, it's straight up not safe at all and you really shouldn't use it if for no other reason than to protect yourself from whatever the fuck it might do to you.
Company's morals and products are both sh*tty.
