Do you ever have one of those days where nothing seems to go right?

South Carolina is no California, and Charleston is no San Francisco; but wow I did not expect this place to be this beautiful. I’m not quite sure what there is to do around here exactly, but if you can point me in the direction of a nice cup of coffee I’ll be very thankful.

“Today is the first day I’ve had off work in a while and rather than catching up on my sleep or maybe even watching Netflix, I’ll be spending my day running around town, attempting to complete various errands. Basically what I’m trying to say is that being an adult is great.”

“I sense a sarcasm here. I feel lucky that I am still a student.”

"Oh okay.” Kate said, biting her lip nervously. “It was a dark joke.”

Ainsley pulls up to someone walking in the rain with the window of his patrol car rolled down. “Hey!” He calls, “You need a ride?”

Kate turned to car as she heard a male voice. “I need a ride but I don’t know you. You can be a serial killer.” She joked nervously.

“That’s exciting, though. We should go get coffee and catch up when you’re free.”

“Actually, I am free now. What do you say?”

“Yeah, everything is good now. How about you? How’ve you been? Aw, thank you. Me, too.”

“I am fine. Pretty busy with school, I am looking for an internships. I am more focused on school. As you can see, I am pretty boring.”

“Hey, Kate. I’ve missed you, too. I went home for a while…I had some stuff to deal with.”

“Welcome back. I hope everything is okay. I am glad that you are back to be honest.”
