Here’s a painting I sold at the Small Talk show curated by the ever mysterious (not really) Phantom Hand. It’s titled, “If there are land people, why shouldn’t there be sea people?“ Which is a real quote I heard from a real (first?) date. The answer to that question is that there shouldn’t be sea people because they would be terrifying creatures. They would lure people to their deaths and rage against the land.
Below are two rejected package designs (collaboratively done with Annabelle Buck who did some of the plant drawings). I liked them and thought they should see the light of day. They’re just in their sketch phase but I still thought they looked nice.
