I'm the pregnant anon from earlier I haven't told him and our relationship is fairly new we met December got together February he left April 19 I calculated it back to conceiving April 12th... I'm really scared I feel alone even my family is supportive but I feel alone cuz he's not here...

Anon you are strong and you will get through this. I would still tell him because he does have a right to know and if the worst happens you have family with you.

Positive Things--Since I Became a “Milso”

Totally wasn’t tagged to do this, but I love the idea of spreading positivity on this tag. There are a million incredible things that have happened to me since I started dating my boyfriend, but when it comes to the military, there are 4 things that have changed the way I look at the world and at my s/o:

1. I’ve truly learned empathy–from listening to his stories about freezing cold nights and and the 4 hour long tests he repeatedly has to take.

2. Distance has pushed me to become even more self-reliant and ambitious in setting goals for myself

3. Being in the military has made my boyfriend a more spiritual person, and it’s great that we can now talk together about praying for each other

4. I have learned to toughen up and just do things because ultimately there’s a guy out there that I know, busting his ass for my freedom, so I have no excuse
