For years I’ve been hoping that hoyo would release a ballerina in Snezhnaya and now I am also hoping that they pull a Kafka trailer and interpolate Tchaikovsky on her musical themes. I mean, her name is even Odette!!! Please do it, hoyo, pleeeeeease

some people will be like “I wonder why fanfic writers don’t share their works anymore😔” and then this is them when a writer is kind enough to share something they write — as a hobby, for their own enjoyment — with them for free.

some people really don’t realize how privileged they are that they get fanfics for free. imagine having access to something for free because someone is kind enough to share it with you… and then being rude, entitled and an ungrateful pos to that person who was kind enough to share their creation with you for free

“almost 1 year is a lil too much for me” fuck off. fanfic writers don’t owe you anything. one of my favorite fics was updated after 13 years, and what I did is that I thanked the author for choosing to continue the work, I didn’t act like a spoiled toddler by asking why they didn’t update sooner. and even if a writer chooses to abandon their fic permanently with no explanation, that is their choice, their hobby, their decision. they don’t owe your entitled ass anything.

you people let tiktok rot your brains to the point you see everything as content farm and engagement. not a piece of art created by the artist’s love and passion. it’s dystopian.

As someone who loves stories about sibling love, I gotta say that the Netflix movie “Voicemails for Isabelle” just ripped my heart out of my chest, threw it on the curb and stomped on it until it turned to paste. 10/10 highly recommend

So...

Ever since Weinlesefest (a.k.a. "for two years now"), my head simply can't stop coming up with new scenarios in which Diluc would use the mom-card to emotionally blackmail Kaeya into having dinner at the Winery...

Just a few examples:

Kaeya goes to the Winery somewhat close to dinner time to discuss some request from the Knights

Diluc: okay, I believe we can discuss the details over dinner and-

Kaeya: Diluc, I appreciate the offer, but it's not that important, we can talk about it quickly, and then I'll be out of your hair

Diluc: you don't want to have Adelinde’s food tonight? Then sure, I guess we can talk about it before dinner

(she's standing right there in the same room)

Diluc: so, I was thinking we could do something especial for Adelinde’s birthday next week

Kaeya (still unsure he's welcome at the Winery because he's emotionally dumb): oh, I'll be swamped with work, I'm not sure I'll be able to come over

Diluc: surely you can ask Jean for a day off. Unless you don't want to come over for Addie's birthday... I'm sure she'll understand when I tell her...

(And he’s so fucking proud of himself every single time because it always works, without fail)
