But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint
Isaiah 40:31 ESV
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 ESV
Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
Proverbs 19:21 ESV
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these
Matthew 6:25-34 ESV
How To Read A 223-Page Novel In Just 77 Minutes
Spritz is a company that makes a speed-reading technology which allows you to get through a mass of text, reading every word, in a fraction of the time it would take if you were turning the pages of a book or swiping through a Kindle.
The basis of Spritz concept is that much of the time spend reading is “wasted” on moving your eyes from side to side, from one word to the next. By flashing the words quickly, one after the other, all in the same place, eye movement is reduced almost to zero. All that’s left is the time you take to process the word before the next one appears.
The company is selling licenses for other companies who might want to use the technology in operating systems, applications, wearables, and websites. Obviously, the tiny screen of a smart watch instantly springs to mind.
But the real revelation of Spritz is in trying it yourself.

SPOTLIGHT: The Value of a Line by Heather Hansen
In 1906 German art historian Wilhelm Worringer wrote, “The value of a line, of a form consists for us in the value of the life that it holds for us. It holds its beauty only through our own vital feeling, which, in some mysterious manner, we project into it.”
Artist Heather Hansen employs her own body and performance to create large-scale charcoal and pastel drawings.

This is amazing. Real talent
Last Sunday was the first Sunday of November! In celebration of this day of free museums, we headed off to the Louvre. Unfortunately we got there a little past 10, which meant that the line was longer than 3 hours long, as were all the other museums I guess everyone else had the same idea as us? Fortunately we found a secret way into the Louvre with bypassed all but 10 minutes of the wait (thank goodness!) We wandered all around the Louvre and saw Napoleon III's diner table (46 seats!!) and saw much more decadence and luxury of the past. It was really nice to be with these two girls again, because they were my first two friends here in France and I went to Paris for the first time with them! I'm so grateful for them and all that we're here to do and to experience. The friends you make when you're out on your own are true friends because all they know is who you are to them, no background history or hearsay. I love them!!
ciao ciao for now <3
Think my selfies have gotten any better since I've gotten here?

getting through security
It may be the same for all airports, but MSP has the worst security check placement. And I mean this in the best way! But after saying goodbye to my loving family, the got to watch as I made my way though the security line and all I could do is smile and wave as they stood there watching me. And right when you have to hand them your boarding pass, there's just enough space for your parents to sidle up and get one last hug. And that was the best part. But goodbyes are never easy, especially if they're prolonged by 20 minute long and last last last LAST hug goodbye. Come on, you can't help but break out in tears then.
Hipster girl. Hipster girl. Hipster girl. yeah.
