long time no talk… it’s been a while since you’ve seen any of my posts on tumblr, since 2014 actually! I wanted to give you a little update on my life! so I graduated college two years ago with my bachelors degree in psychology and education, and since then i’ve been working in a school with children who have difficulties learning and working in a typical school setting. it’s difficult but I love what i do, and whenever I have a bad day I know I can turn on your music and will instantly feel even just a little bit better.

i’ve been a fan for about 10 years now! it’s so crazy how time flies. I first heard your music when I was in 7th grade english class, my teacher bought your debut album and played Our Song while we were waiting for class to start, and i’ve been hooked ever since. people haven’t always been there for me but your music always has. My best friend shayna @captureitrememberit and I have a tumblr called @reproomexperience (previously loft89experience) and shayna was lucky enough to meet you at one of the 1989 shows because of the blog. unfortunately I didn’t have tickets to that show and I wasn’t able to meet you with her…

and that brings us to Reputation! I cant believe how much i love this album, it really is my favorite next to Speak Now… I was lucky enough to get tickets to see your show three times this summer, in washington DC, and at Gillette stadium in boston. i’ve never been lucky enough to get the opportunity to meet you in person before, and i’m hoping someday i’ll get the chance to give you a hug and thank you in person for everything you’ve done for me and how you’ve influenced my life over the past 10 years.
