SOUP SEASON

I made a soup post for you since eating soup is the only redeeming quality of the cold dark season we are in. These are my favorite soup recipes:

https://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2017/01/caldo-verde-portuguese-potato-kale-soup-recipe.html - I just use kielbasa or andouille sausage because my grocery store doesn’t have Portuguese sausage, still good.

https://food52.com/recipes/20607-massaman-inspired-chicken-noodle-soup - I feel like everyone has a basic recipe for chicken noodle soup so this one is a good variation.

https://www.thekitchn.com/recipe-last-minute-spicy-coconut-wonton-soup-247024 - LAZY SOUP!! You can use frozen pot stickers (The Trader Joes Gyoza are my go to) and I’ve just dumped in some random frozen vegetables with good results.

https://www.jocooks.com/recipes/italian-meatball-soup/ - I just made this for dinner and don’t regret it!

https://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/posole_rojo/ - This take longer because of the pork shoulder but is WORTH IT.

https://www.budgetbytes.com/african-peanut-stew-vegan/ - Peanut butter in a soup sounds weird but just let it happen.

https://food52.com/recipes/2691-pasta-e-fagioli - I usually have all the things you need to make this in my home, love any recipe that doesn’t require a specific grocery store trip.

https://pinchofyum.com/lemon-chicken-soup-with-orzo - This is basically Avgolemono, a Greek soup everyone should get on board with because eggs make it creamy and I’m lactose intolerant so that works out very well for me.

https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1017085-dijon-and-cognac-beef-stew - I made this last weekend and it was the best beef stew I’ve ever had. I halved the mustard and it was still great.
