Video Description: marine is speaking out at gop hearing and gets violently pulled away by two officers, then these officers when joined by a man in a suit and possibly two more pull this man and break his arm, snapping his forearm using the leverage of two doors. I found it to be quite graphic.

You guys I googled this event and it's real, and the idea that they would break the arm of a marine for speaking out is absolutely insane. The way they broke his arm looked insanely deliberate as well, wedging it between some doors and you can hear a crack in the video. It was a disgusting display of violence and cruelty to a SERVICE MEMBER talking about WAR. I had to keep googling this because I just found it so unbelievable that they were so violent with him. His name is Brian McGinnis and he is a us marine core veteran and he's also running for senate in North Carolina. I hope he is okay.

I am exhausted and frustrated by white people's cries of helplessness and confusion. I am tired of comments insisting nothing can be done, that (white) americans need only to focus on themselves and their mental health, and I am sick of hearing about the discomfort of white people. You can scroll past a picture of a mother holding her child's corpse, because it is only a picture to you, but that mother is alive and that child is alive. White people's existence has become political, when they are seen now their politics are simply assumed and they don't like it. As a black person I've felt this way my whole life but I've never felt white people dealt with this issue. It's weird seeing them experience it, I can't even be empathetic because I've never been so upset about politics in my entire life.
