@katiie-marie
Hi! I was wondering if you had any tips for future history majors?
Hey dear, you mean as in you want to start studying History at uni? (I sometimes have trouble with the various and different words regarding the education levels by country/language…)
But I would give you those:
READ A LOT!
Spend a lot of time in the library, accomodate yourself with the material. Even Better if you do that with Archives too.
Train in writing a lot, don’t be afraid to ask questions, take every ounce of criticism from your professors as as a good thing, it’ll allow you to better yourself, don’t think of it negatively.
Give your essays to family and friends so they can proof read (grammar/spelling), second or third eye is always good to catch things you might have missed.
Try to work as much as you can on subjects that passionate you! That’s where you’ll be the most powerful.
Try to also read/inform yourself about other disciplines that will be important to your studies if your university doesn’t provide you them: read about history of economics, history of arts, history of philosophies and religions… those will help you lots to understand your subject more…
Those are the things I am thinking of now… hope my answer helped? Hope you have much success :)

We did it. We’re finally free.
Turning in a 10 page essay, that you started on the day of the due date, at 11:59:59 after 2 whole days of studying.
THIS is my favorite vine of all time
cool date idea:
- take me to a bookstore - give me $1,000 - leave

This is our worst nightmare. This is disgusting and horrific. I am afraid.
