New favorite show. Can't wait for Season 2.
We try very hard to teach our boys how to be respectful, but its very hard and unfair that we still have to teach them how to live in a world that does not value them. Whats the curriculum for that.

NAEYC
One of the professional organizations I found for Elementary Education teachers is NAEYC or The National Association for the Education of Young Children. On the local level, is Nebraska AEYC.
The membership fee covers one year and is $40 for students (a $10 discount). Some benefits offered to NAEYC members are discounts on a variety of products (from magazines to insurance) and voting rights in NAEYC elections.
The NAEYC's annual conference is in Atlanta, Georgia Nov. 7-10, 2012. Registration for the conference opens July 1. The price of attending the conference is not given.
NAEYC publishes Young Children, a peered-reviewed journal, Teaching Young Children (TYC), a magazine for preschool teachers, along with Voices of Practitioners, a online journal and Early Childhood Research Quarterly.
