Mealprep
I’m trying to go as healthy as possible as I’ve felt like rubbish for the past 6 months. Putting on weight, getting less fit and generally feeling tired and sluggish. I need a change and I’m really trying. Today was day 1 of my mealprep (day 2 if you count last night and the food I made). I’ve decided not to do a whole week of the same meal because I just know that will see me finish this journey quicker than I started it. I sat down on Friday and planned out a 6 day week, allowing for the 7th day to be a mystery and to allow for some diversity. A lot of people call this a ‘cheat day’ but if I’m going to feel guilty about it then what’s the point? Planning the meals were fun and finally allow me to use Pinterest (and not just stalking the boards I like). This week I’m having the likes of mixed veg frittata for breakfast, green veg & rice for lunch, gingerberry smoothies, peanut dip with fruit, falafel wraps… All whiles being happy about my food choices. All of this lovely goes hand in hand with trying to feel more positive, getting up earlier to enjoy breakfast, being thankful for life around me and not sweating the smaller stuff. I’ve got this beautiful kitchen to cook in (given we’ve just bought our first house), the most wonderful Mister I could wish for and family & friends whom I adore. If you’re embarking on #mealprep or are already on it my best wishes to you (also any recepie ideas 😀) Bangerz x

2) good luck with this :) I was looking at buzzfeed clean eating challenge yesterday and it all looks so good. I am loving the idea of matching batches of food for lunches etc to reduce the thinking! Not to mention if I actually think about what I am going to eat for so many days ahead I might reduce of the food wastage..
