day 5 - Gym boss!
I've been going to a trainer for a couple of months now, but not to an actual gym, so today was my first day in the local gym and I honestly went in feeling stupidly self conscience and very self aware. I was really worried that I would look foolish trying to figure out how to use the machines I'm not used to and generally like those people you wish would just get feed up all ready and stop filling up your gym!
it didn't go as bad as I thought it would though! It definitely took me awhile to figure out the cardio machines but the weight machines I had those babies down! Gyms aren't as scary as I thought they would be :) if anything by the end of the session I wanted to kill someone who was using the lat machine as a chair to do dumbbell kickbacks, that surely means I was comfortable right?
Oh one thing I must point out as it made my day! I got onto the leg press after this guy and he kindly ( not in a macho way at all ) pointed out he had that weight pretty high I might want to move it down. I looked at the weight and went oh thanks, and moved it from 60kg to 80kg and got a wow fair play! I love you derby legs! :-)
