Everything’s fucking green.

Is this just his life now? Does Dream have a permanent residence in his mind? He couldn’t even look at a tree without Dream’s voice emerging in his mind. His giggle, his laugh, his scream when he’s scared, his excitement when he wins.

“LET’S FUCKING GOOOOO”

George feels his lips twitch, the ghost of a smile that desperately wants to be there."

The switch in his mind flips from happy and peaceful to depressed and anxious back and forth rather aggressively. What is he so afraid of?

Rejection. Dream to realize that he’s not actually interested in George. George self-sabotaging because he’s worried about a horrible end. George ruining everything before it even has a chance to start.

His mothers words echo in his mind, “I don’t think you should run from what might make you happy just because it might make you sad.”

"That damn livestream.

George couldn’t stop thinking about it.

Dream’s low voice muttering, do I make you feel something?

Dream’s voice dropping to a rumble, I wish I could feel you.

You need to be kissed, George. So hard you can’t remember your name.

He sighs longingly, leaning backwards into the shower wall. He’s oblivious to the cold tile and only aware of the blood suddenly rushing to his hips.

The selfie Dream had sent him lives in the forefront of George’s mind. Blonde, disheveled hair. Collarbones poking out of his t-shirt. His face glowing red with the same unholy thoughts that have been plaguing George since last night.

The thoughts become too much to bear so for the second time within the last 12 hours, George reaches down and loses himself in the fantasy of Dream."
