What was an unexpected change made to TADC that you now cannot live without? Like maybe an improv'd character quirk or a change in a song's melody, something that you wouldn't change back for anything?

Honestly Jax's face rig in episode 6 was so good that I wish we could go back and re-animate his face in all the previous episodes with the new rig because it could match all my drawings perfectly.

Did you have the whole general plot planned out before you started writing the first episode, or did you come up with some of it as you went?

I plan everything out before I begin, so I can properly set things up that will be relevant later.

Will you ever make anything similar to TADC again?

Maybe, I had a dream recently about a bunch of gangsters who get turned into puppets, and I might be able to turn it into something maybe.

I don't know if this has been asked before but how long were you thinking about the amazing digital circus before you pitched it to somebody?

Glitch approached me asking for an idea for a 3D pilot, and I came up with the idea within two weeks of that as a "testing the waters" idea to see if I could actually make a show.

Did the the title of TADC ep 8: hjsakldfhl stand for something? Was it code for something? What does it mean??? Or was it just the button mash it appears to be... The theories are driving me NUTS.

Not really. It was meant to show how he can make fun of others but refuse to be made fun of himself.

He tried to fix his brain and make him happy.

Because I wanted it to feel as abrupt and upsetting as it feels in real life.

Hi! I was wondering if there was any sort of meaning behind the shape sequence Caine uses to get to the brain scans folder / door? Or if it was just a sequence of shapes that looked neat lol

It was meant to represent what it's like for him to decode a path he isn't meant to follow. Like a visual for his creative problem solving.

Did you already know what the characters would look like from the start, or did you only decide that when you cast the actors for the live-action scene?

They gave me a huge list of actors and I looked at them all until I saw ones where I was like "yeah I could see it"

Especifically what happened to caine after getting "erased"? Is actually that part of the void a recycle bin? he cant actually get deleted so he just got taken out of bounds? he reapeared as a backup? i actually feel like i need a tecnical explanation please

I like to think everything that gets deleted gets thrown out into the void.

Is there anything you would want to change from the digital circus (even if it something little) if you have to do it all over again?

I'd want to probably explore Pomni's angry side a bit more. She was originally going to be a much angrier character, but after casting Lizzie, she was so nice and sweet that it was toned down a bit, but I kind of regret that. Some of Pomni's anger issues made it through to the final thing, but I wish I made it more of a key part of her.

is there any possibility of new content for tadc? I don’t mean new episode, like shorts or merch?

There will probably be merch and shorts. I won't be writing or directing them, but I trust the person who is.
