The Adventurous “C” Family loves to play outside, go for walks & visit the park often. I love that they make it outside at least once a day(even if it’s just for an errand or lunch!) REGARDLESS of the weather. Their kids are young, so like most children, they are happiest outside learning about their world and burning off energy. 🙂 Baby Meadow is so lucky to have a funny & helpful big brother to help her check out new things and make her laugh!
Mom wanted this session so they can have photos to look back at a realistic perception of their life at this time. With a (newly) one year old, and an almost three year old, their life (in her words) is chaotic but wonderful. ❤ Beautifully stated.
This was my first official “Unscripted” session.. and given the back story about the “C” family, it could not have started off more appropriately.
First, it was forecasted to start raining right about the time our session was scheduled to start. But, the beauty of documentary style sessions is NOT stressing about weather. Since we were going to be wandering around Longwood, we had options for indoor areas, plus puddles are fun for kids, and mom already told me they are pretty much all-weather people, so I wasn’t concerned (as long as it wasn’t a thunderstorm!).
Then, I got this message…
I’m not going to lie… I laughed pretty hard when I got that message. I figured if mom was calm enough to message me (and was only running 15 minutes behind), then Baby Meadow must have been fine. Thankfully she was, and those adorable chunky baby thighs weren’t wedged between her wooden crib bars for long. And as for the poop mishap.. I’m happy that it washes off easily (and makes for another good story).
I’m so glad we didn’t have to reschedule because of the weather… it turned out to be a gorgeous day.. A few raindrops, but it was the PERFECT temperature and everyone really enjoyed their first trip to Longwood! Plus… I’m pretty certain we captured the beauty of their wonderful chaos! ❤
