It’s weird how simple yet freaking complicated adult life is. I mean, all you have to do is pay bills, but, at the same time, YOU GOTTA PAY BILLS.

Beautiful as usual, these guys are getting more and more inspiring!
Totally Over Him. Totally.
Best Friend: I'm totally over him. Yeah, it was just a stupid crush, whatever.
Me(a few minutes later):Oh look, it's what's-his-name over there.
Best Friend:(turns around fast enough to give me whiplash)WHERE???!!!
Me: I thought you were over him?
Best Friend: I still like to look!
I miss you
Me: *opens door to dorm room* O my love, I’ve missed you so much. I can hardly bear being apart from you. Did you miss me? No worries, I won't leave you again.
Friend: Who the hell are you talking to?
Me: My bed, duh.
Who Made People?
Who made people the jury, the judge?
To point at a painting and call it a smudge?
They say they are experts,
but in reality they are flirts.
Drawing a line
telling others to pay a fine,
but breaking the rules,
and calling others fools.
They are the boss,
but they take no responsibility for the loss.
A great talent
A great soul
A great heart
A great skill.
Forgotten because of someone else’s words,
Lost and unable to fly with the birds.
A chance, an opportunity lost
at their own cost.
What can I say to get you not to give in?
I know how much you want to win
Life is a game you say,
but do any of us know how to play?
An expert was once a beginner,
Staring up at all those “winners.”
Waiting for a chance to say their piece,
and to finally gain that release.
So, what can I say?
You shine in your own way.
You may feel invisible,
but your soul is indivisible.
One day you will rise up,
and drink from the Winner’s Cup.
But I’ll ask just one thing of you:
Don’t become an “expert” to rue.
In those days remember
the bottom where you burned like an ember.
Longing to prove you exist,
while pushing back the darkness you resist.
Remember, when you get where you’re going,
the kindness, or the hate, you could be sowing.
Take someone higher,
do not sell your soul but be a buyer.
A sower of kindness,
and realize that, like you, they are never less.
There is no such thing as experts:
No, that is not how it works.
After fire comes rain
on a dry, dusty plain.
It becomes a field of green
with beauty everywhere to be seen.
And that is a person, who came through the worst
realizing there really is no such thing as “first.”
Experiences teach you
that this is what is true:
Investment in someone’s heart
gives them a start,
then they bloom and flourish
and carry out their own wish.
All it takes is kindness,
not judgement on whether they are worthless.
No one is the judge, the jury-
because we have all tasted that fury.
Not a single right to judge,
a person’s gifts will not, should not, budge.

Youth is a Mindset, So don’t Treat Me Like I’m Wrong
I had a discussion with someone that I won’t specifically elaborate on, but I will sum up my thoughts with here, because discussing with the afore-said person would be frustrating and circular. This person responded to my firm standing in my morals with a typical argument given to people my age. Basically, this person said my morals are parallels of my religion (which I will not deny: that is true), and hand-me downs from religious beliefs, which also is true.
Unfortunately, they insinuated in their argument that I don’t have enough experience or knowledge of the world in order to create a plausible basis of argument for my morals. Since I am young, they said, I don’t have an understanding of the wider world: I have a small perspective.
This is simply untrue. Assuming that, because of my youth, I cannot have wisdom, is a fatal flaw of the previous generations. They believe that because they have lived longer, and perhaps been to more places, they have a wide understanding of the world that can out-match a younger persons’ perspective. They don’t seem to understand that it is their faults and mistakes we are learning from, and gaining experience from observation.
Not to say that youth don’t make mistakes, but that, perhaps, instead of the extra years of life having widened their perspective, it actually narrowed their perspective, and created a biased way of thinking. Youth have the advantage of a fresh perspective, a new understanding. As I have previously said in other conversations and writings (most of which I have never disclosed), someone who has “Youth” is anyone with a fresh perspective on an old battleground that generations before have over-discussed to the point of obscurity. Youth have the ability to honor and learn from the past, and build a new future with their own ideas that have been created in them from multiple outlets, but also because they were born in a new era. We, as youth, can use morals and religion to show the world what honor and treating others fairly is truly about.
So saying that I have no real belief formed because I am too young, and have not seen everything in the world yet (and really, what an assumption! Because I am young, I haven’t experienced enough? How many people are there in the world that have had more experience in difficult situations at a young age, than many adults in the modern era?) is ridiculous.
Yes. I am young. But, rather than this being looked at as a disadvantage, it should be looked at as an advantage. It will be MY generation that influences the future, not the one that came before, which has influenced the present (and, not saying my generation will be necessarily better, but can we at least point out the present isn’t all that great, compared to the previous generation’s big talk?).
Don’t look down on me because I am young. I’ll be an example for my generation, and change the world where I’m at. Underestimating youth is a good way to lose all credibility with us as people. Because youth isn’t a label, it’s a mindset that will change the future. That is all I have to say. Thank you.

So happy with this one, my favorite album by far.
Give it a listen!
Why I Hate Crime TV Shows
I really hate crime shows. Not because they aren’t interesting, but because, more often than not, they are unrealistic. People watch those shows, then serve on jury and expect a line up of pictures, DNA, and video tapes of the crime. They watch shows, and then expect a real life courtroom to be that dramatic and cinematic. Those shows aren’t real, folks. Often times, the prosecutor had to dig and work his ass off, spending long hours at crime scenes, in archive rooms, and buried in law books, or listening to tapes over and over again. The charges he puts on the criminal are the ones he is sure of, and can prove the most. It’s really frustrating to see criminals let back on the streets because there aren’t instances that show up in CSI happening in a real courtroom. That’s TV, people, not real life. In real life, more often than not, the prosecutor is trying to put a real, evil person behind bars. Pay a little respect to your law enforcement, and get your head out of the clouds. Law enforcement work hard for a living, and get little recognition for it. Are the citizens really this stupid?

Love this! The lyrics are sarcastic, but it’s really a relatable song, especially if you’ve got an ex like this. Honestly, one of my favorite songs of this year!
It’s been raining for 3 weeks straight, and then, suddenly today, this was my reality:
I CANT SEE. WHAT IS THIS BRIGHTNESS OUTSIDE? WHERE IS THE SKY?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAH. erhmagoosh! AAAAAH <3 :D
