Name: Boomboxer, Beepboxer, and Blastboxer

At first glance, Boomboxer’s family isn’t the weirdest introduced in Super Paper Mario, though I’m still pretty sure every enemy introduced in this game counts at a baseline “weird.” However, when you look into all the little details, there’s actually a whole lot more that really makes me love these guys!
First of all, they have boomboxes for heads, and that’s already perfect. Apparently heavy ones too! Look at how they have to hold up their own heads with their arms! It probably shouldn’t be much to figure out that these guys attack you with sound, but it gets a little sillier than that. According to Tippi, they are actually scared by their own loud music, which is just adorable. Maybe that has something to do with the weird face they make when rocking out?
Yeah probably. This isn’t just reflected by their attack animations though! It’s also reflected in-game, because whenever you place Boomer, the bomb Pixl, every Boomboxer, Beepboxer, and Blastboxer will be stunned by the loud noise! I’m sure that Boomboxers aren’t alone, though. If you ignited a bomb when I was trying to relax and listen to music way too loud, then I bet I’d be pretty scared too.
