I am deathly afraid of almosts. Of coming so very close to where I want to be in life that I can almost taste it, almost touch it, then falling just a little short.

I loved a man who had opened up a world to me but hadn’t loved me enough to stay in it.

La Belle Personne (2008)
I remember seeing this girl in New York working at a coffee shop, green highlights, multiple earrings. She looked stunning tbh, and for some reason I wanted to be her

You and I wear the dangerous looseness of doom and find it becoming.

In an ideal world, we can erase certain people from our memories
For some unexplainable reason, you just miss somebody. You find yourself thinking about that person everyday. Then you try to stop by distracting yourself with activities you think you’d enjoy. But that person comes to your mind like a forgotten alarm clock, especially when you lay in bed at night or right when you wake up. You start to think about that person again, even if it’s just for a minute, you can’t help but think about that person again.
There are periods in our past that can't be dismissed with a flippant "Oh, that time." They may be short, those periods, but they work their influence throughout our lives.
The Gray Snowman by Ch'oe Yun
“For me, it’s just you.”
Perfect ending tbh

Let’s admit, without apology, what we do to each other.

I think you still love me, but we can’t escape the fact that I’m not enough for you. I knew this was going to happen. So I’m not blaming you for falling in love with another woman. I’m not angry, either. I should be, but I’m not. I just feel pain. A lot of pain. I thought I could imagine how much this would hurt, but I was wrong.
