The studio is being remodeled and the grand theme revolves around “turn of the century haunted hotel with a quiet past”

which is objectively weird considering the size is… very tiny

and the surrounding building is slightly less cool than mid century modern (built as that era was winding down and not Cheap cheap but Less Expensive)

“Old and beloved haunted hotel” is the one theme that unites myself and my producer Fang the most aesthetically

I am going to turn my office into something out of a Scooby Doo background scene though when I get there

One thing I am finding that is Expensive but Obtainable is hardware

My 10 yo kiddo was getting a haircut the other day and the stylist was trying to make conversation and asked what his favorite color was. He patiently explained that it's yellow, but not because he particularly likes yellow but because when you're playing a board game, everyone picks their favorite color piece and the adults in his family already picked blue, red, and green. My 10yo's favorite color is yellow because his grown ups took all the other colors.

My neighborhood is suburban enough that we don't get deer, but we definitely have killer rabbits. (There's a particularly big-ass one that is largely unafraid of the peoples this year - "yeah, im sitting in the middle of your flowers. Wadda gon do bout it?") We planted a bunny garden for them outside the veggie-garden-for-humans.
