Not on anything racial, but filmmakers will continuously adapt already told stories and stay changing white characters to black (or any POC) instead of just.. making a new character. Obviously the cast shouldn’t look like the next rendition of Friends, but unless lacking in the original piece, there is no need to race-swap.

this is something i've been working on for a while now. during my process of creating a world, i've been very limited by the game itself : i've always wanted to have a simple, flat, textured terrain to have as much freedoom as possible.

the screenshot is taken in newcrest, where i have completely flattened the terrain and deleted roads and water. i've still some work to do on water though.

the best-case scenario would be to achieve this in every base game world for a start. and of course, sharing it with you so you could build your own worlds with no limits.

i'm not 100% sure it is possible, as the game is unfortunately not supposed to work this way. i've still some things to figured out, but i'm already very happy with what i've achieved. like it's really been a whileeeeee since i've started trying. i'll keep you informed!

i wanna do a more sims 3 sim style for my save but with clay hair. i want a custom feel, but i really wanna cut down on cas cc (especially hair) so that i can splurge with build cc. alpha sims in-game are uncanny asf. that, and alpha build cc with reshade off. maxis too, actually. i need someone to pioneer alpha level meshes with a clayed alpha texture on build items.

this is such a non-issue, but i wish that some reshade shaders could have toggled layers. i find color-grading and rtgi to be necessary when making presets, but it always bothers me when my darkskin sims go all reptilian mode and shed into lightskins with highbeams glaring in their direction.

I have an idea for a save. Well. I have a lot of ideas for a save. Firstly, I have a name for the save- city and state. Purely fictional. It fits with the architecture I'll be using. Two, I need a construction set for it so I plan on making that. Three, I'm going to revisit the idea of making the world (willow creek) flat like a knockoff CAW. I kind've got it back in 2024, but I was pretty unexperienced. I just gotta figure out the routing. I kinda wanna make a separate blog for it. Not sure because that restart and trying to get ahead of the algorithm is gonna be reufgh.
