I tend to liveblog this on my twitter but I NEED PEOPLE TO BE AWARE….

While I am not surprised about how lowkey anti-Korean that Japan is in general (i.e. Japanese occupation in Korea, Japanese education glossing over their crimes in Korea, etc.), but Seungil being shafted in the latest ep for some creepy sister-obsessed Italian boy rubbed me the wrong way..

Also, YOI-themed cafe items were announced and lmao…every skater is represented as a drink and Seungil…is a “Korean style” egg drop soup.

Aaaand this is where it gets really shitty for Korean fans of this show…

I still like the show, but a lot of my enthusiasm has died down after this episode :/ I’m sure it wasn’t intentional because Korea is still a huge market for anime fans, but as a Korean, it was kinda offensive.

Though it’s mostly teasing, I think Sanji’s genuinely fond of Zoro when he sometimes reveals his goofiness. Yes the competition is still there, but for the most part Sanji's mirth has less to do with rivalry and more to do with the simple joy of watching his peer acting like the dork he is
