Proof that @angie-pangaea and I do go on dates together! I’ve been feeling awful lately, so the first day of 2016 Angie has treated me to a day at the Aquarium at Darling Harbour.
KC and I spent the first day of the new year out and about in Sydney. We enjoyed sea creatures and had very alcoholic drinks with lunch. Then it was really hot and humid so we went and spent time with BB-8 back at the hotel.
ALERT! tumblr user @not-that-edgy / @thatonerecruit decided to use her powers for good and found THE PERFECT GIFT for the giant dino nerd that I am. She knows me too well.

Angie: Great. Look if you need murder someone just inject a syringe full of nothing but air into somewhere innocuous - like between their toes. It'll cause an air embolism that will travel to their heart and simulate the symptoms of a heart attack. No poison residue, no obvious signs of foul play. Perfect murder.
KC: ...I'm scared and proud that you know that and I'm happy you told me.
Haha my dad is practically obsessed with ST. So I've grown up watching it all. Lol Any favorite characters?
KC: From Next Gen: Picard is best guy. I loved Data and Worf. WORF omg. Also Deanna Troi (Betazoids were/are my fav race). From DS9, I adored Quark for some reason. Ferengi are so hilarious!! From Voyager it is 100% Seven of Nine. Seven of fucking Nine is literally best lady!!!
Angie: From TOS: UHURA how could you not love her and also Bones, he’s the best. From Next Gen, also Picard, for me, and Data (ofc). From the new films, everyone. The entire crew. Don’t make me choose (but especially Scotty and Uhura).
How do u lovely girls feel about plot twists? bc I think they unnecessary fOR MY EMOTIONAL HEALTH
Angie: Haha, I agree! However, considering the fact that many of the shows/movies/books that I enjoy are RENOWNED for plots twists that leave you reeling (seriously, one of my absolute favourite shows killed off three of the four main characters in the space of two episodes, after three episodes of having them all survive. It was awful), I think it’s a love/hate relationship with me. My emotional health suffers but my inner creative enjoyment is more often than not thriving.
So my answer is: I love to hate them. Never stop doing them well maybe space them out a bit idk my heart can’t take it all the time
KC: I LOVEEE PLOT TWISTS. I love, love, love them. What’s even worse is that I love to try and guess what the plot twists are. I’m one of those horrible people. Hahaha. I can usually guess correctly if it’s a movie that uses the cliche-est of cliches, but when movies catch me by surprise I LOVE IT. It’s why I watch a lot of thriller/horror movies. So goooood!! <33

Angie: *cackles* just accept the beauty that is extinct animals and join ussss
KC: Oh don’t make me choooose~ I don’t have a favourite animal exactly (I don’t have a favourite anything tbh, but I have lots of things I love!), I love birds in general. They’re just the most amazing creatures ever. Tiny fluffy fat birds and big babies like falcons and eagles. I just like BIRBS.
(Also KC that is an awesome dress and you should def get it)

Oooohh, Angie, you like Star Trek? The movies or the TV shows? Old stuff or newer stuff? If you have seen the shows, which series was your favorite? I personally love Enterprise and Voyager, but the rest of my family is obsessed with DS9 (which is, of course, my least favorite -_-) *is probably going to pummel you with more questions later because i had no idea you were a trekkie and this is so cool* Also, have either of you watched Stargate?
Angie: Yes! I do like Star Trek, most definitely! My parents were fans of the show since they were kids, so I’ve essentially seen most of the earlier series and some of the newer ones. I do really like the original series, and Next Generation, mostly because those are the ones I watched most with my parents, and I love the newer movies as well (but I agree, Janeway is amazing).
KC: Heeeey! I like Star Trek toooo ;w; but I like Next Generation the most with Voyager following close behind. My eldest sister and older brother are still totally into ST too, so it is also a family affair from my end! I’ve been thinking about getting this but I have to figure out where I’d wear them… And if I’d get multiple colours >.>
I haven’t watched Stargate, but its there on Netflix and totally saved! <33
