"For this project, my teacher wanted us to shoot different angles of anything downtown. I was worried that this one would either turn out too bright or too dark, depending on which I focused on the most. I really do like this one, I love the angle and how the shadows seem to cut it all in half."

(It is the same as the class I took in high school, but it's still a photo class and I wasn't planning on letting the use of the dark room leave me). There was no real assignment for this; it was more of a project to start to understand the workings of a camera.

This was a project based off of the photographer Jerry Uelsmann [ [link] ]. I love this photo sooo much. The actual photographer did all of his work in a dark room while we edited ours on Photoshop. There are actually five pictures overlayed here; my model, two images of fireworks (one of which I used more than once) the Ferris Wheel, and the restaurant. ALL PHOTOS BESIDES MY MODEL WERE TAKEN AT CALIFORNIA ADVENTURES, DISNEYLAND

"For this project, we had to use a program called HDR ( [link] ) to change the look of our photo. In the program, we had to use three different pictures of the same images, one that was at regular light exposure, one that was two stops over and another that was two stops under. Then in the program, we were able to change exactly what we wanted to about our picute to color it differently.
I LOVE this program sooo much!! Unfortunatly, I only got the free trial, but I do hope to someday actually buy it. The program can be found here [ [link]]."

"This shot was pretty straight forward; our teacher wanted us to take a close up shot of something we found interesting. My picture is of some miniature coins for little doll on a quarter. Yes, they're that small~ XDD Of course, I asked my teacher how my pictures looked and he took over and took these (which obviously are better than the ones I took.) In these ones, you can see the detail of each coin, even the quarter on the bottom (which is tails, if you couldn't tell XP)"

"This picture was taken on a trip my mom and I went on to a little place called Casa De Fruita. This project was called selective development and was taken on film. Here we were to print onto the photo paper, but when we began to develop it, instead of putting the whole paper into the developer, we actually BRUSHED the chemical on and let it develop however much we wanted.
I have to say, it's not my favorite picture, I probably should have used a different photo for it."

"Photo 2 fashion project. A pretty basic in class/ in studio shoot. I Photoshopped her skin to be paler and accented her lips and eyes to be the brighter aspects of the photo. All in all, I'm extremly proud of this picture X3"

"This photo was taken in a military cemetery just outside of San Fransisco. It was taken using a Holga camera ( [link] ) using 400 film, I believe. I'm actually really glad the houses in the background don't show up as much as I thought they would. Another plus is how you can look down the rows that are almos in a perfect line.

"Another shot for class, same details as the upside down one, except this one had to be simplistic; the rim of the glass had to be even, meaning you can only see the rim as a line. I just really liked this one even though it's supposed to have two colors, i just really liked the sharpness of the gray "

"This was a film project where we used 120 film with a black background and hard light. The actual project was called Liquid Light, which is actually the chemical put on the paper. Although this image is actually just the regular paper we use, I also have a copy (which was the actual project) on watercolor paper coated in the liquid light solution.
My teacher had first told me that my negatives weren't good enough to put onto the watercolor paper, but after he looked at them again, he had me do a regular final on photo paper and decided to print it onto the special paper~"

"so, for this project, we had to take a piece of clear glass and do something with it to make it look "unique". our teacher had set up an opaque plexi-glass and had two separate white lights set up; one below and one behind the glass. we then had to use jells (colored sheets of thin plastic) and cover each light individually and shoot at different exposures. the longer time the camera shutter was left open, the lighter the color, the shorter amount of time it was open, the darker. after taking a few pictures at different times and with different colors, he [the teacher] had us merge two of the photos together, one back lit and the second under lit."

He always said that, but she’d seen him when he was alone. Kami listened to him boast and insult all the humans around. She sighed, looking down at her book. She hated when he said that; he’d always say how he didn’t want to be involved with humans, but when she would say she was leaving, he wouldn’t let her. It was the only time she’d seen him look helpless. But she knew it wasn’t her that he needed, she was only a placebo, a stand-in for the woman who really would support him.
God, she hated being psychic. Even when she knew he’d break her heart, she did it. She fell in love with the wolf, Akira Inugami.
Lost Art
So, while going through my digital copies of all my art and also looking through my class portfolio, I was rudely reminded that while trying to save one of my projects onto the school server, I had all of my digital photographs from my first semester deleted. I am still debating on scanning them then uploading them onto here, but I doubt I will. Some of the digitals I'll be posting on here will be from first semester that I was able to find on a USB or on a memory card, but there are still a few that I have lost completely.
