Things that broke me in Voltron season 4:

- Keith LEAVING

- Keith believing he couldn’t be a good enough leader no matter what

- Matt’s “death”

- PIDGE MOTHERFUCKING CRYING

- Zarkon telling his people to kill his son on site

- Lotor killing Narti (LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK???)

- All those rebels that died in battle (because honestly they deserve more appreciation)

- BASICALLY ALL THE DEATH THIS SEASON

- Lotor turning into a freaking Zuko???

- Lotor being abandoned by his generals

- Shiro/Not-Shiro being able to pilot the black lion

I probably missed a lot, but this will do for now.

season 3 and season 4 were basically a split season, and when asked about where season 4 starts, lauren replies that it starts right where we left off meaning that if they were a whole season:

lotor and his generals would have been introduced, lotor killed one of his generals, and his generals turned on, as well as a possible redemption arc all in ONE SEASON

remember all that team building the team had to do to form voltron with the new arrangement of paladins? the newfound trust that keith and lance had for each other in season 3? keith being lance’s stability? yeah thats all thrown out the window midseason

‘shiro’ was able to pilot the black lion all of a sudden, magically and 'operation kuron’ and his 'weird headache’ are just gone

keith?? hes like out aside midseason?? im so sorry keith stans (not the annoying ones yall deserved it)

keith doesnt have a direct conversation with lance, pidge, or hunk (or coran) midway through the season until the end

LOTOR REDEMPTION ARC IN THE SAME SEASON WHERE HE WAS INTRODUCED

nothing, NOTHING wouldve forshadowed keith leaving team voltron. from one episode to the other keitg just kinda appears on a mission with the marmora (im not exaggerating thats LITTERALY the first episode of season 4)

lance goes back to being a flirst and is reduced to comic relief, so is hunk

keith and narti deserved better
