Wyatt was born and raised in Los Angeles, California in the shadow of his parents, his father being a famous politician and his mother being an esteemed philanthropist. As the only child of two notable community figures, Wyatt always knew he had big shoes to fill and he did his best to live up to expectations. Wyatt kept to himself for the most part, keeping his school friends at a distance and opting to socialize with family friends to keep the image clean.  He held good grades and eventually going to University of Washington for both his undergrad and graduate degree. Holding a Masters Degree in Library Science. The years Wyatt lived in Seattle were eye opening, showing Wyatt the freedom he could hold when he wasn’t directly attached to his family name. It was in this time that he gained a better understanding of himself.  Moving back to Los Angeles was difficult at first, noticing the stark difference between California and Washington. The final straw however was during a fight he had an unfortunate part in, in which he watched his mother chew out his unfaithful father. It was in this moment he learned that he was not actually an only child, with his father having a second child with an unknown woman. Despite his family’s effort to bury the story, Wyatt started to pry, using his archivist skills to unearth information that led him to Aurora Bay, where he suspects his half-sister might be.

It took her a second before Celeste realized where she recognized the guy from who was now sitting at the bar and she headed over, sliding a coaster in front of him and putting an easy smile on her lips, "Hey. You're the guy who saved my ass the other week when I took a wrong turn and got incredibly lost in the museum." She told him as a greeting, motioning behind herself all the while. "First drink's on me. Least I can do."

Wyatt looked up, a hint of a smile dancing on his lips. “I thought I recognized you. Glad I could help you out.” He nodded thoughtfully, eyes meeting hers with a knowing gaze. “I have to say, you’re definitely making this whole ‘hero’ thing a little more enjoyable," he leaned in, voice low, "How about we skip the drinks and you can help me out with something? It's nothing much, I promise."

everly raised an eyebrow, her cart full of groceries as she glanced at wyatt. "one, who still gets burger king? that’s a bold choice, my friend. two, does this mean we’re friends now? and three, no—definitely no tipping. you’d be lucky if i don’t charge you for the privilege of me accepting your 'gift.'"

Wyatt raises an eyebrow back, as if challenging Everly. “No tip? Seriously? If you can’t even throw me a buck, we’re not friends. Friends tip, Everly. This isn’t a charity. And if the roles were reversed? I’d absolutely tip you, no question.”

"Because of the food and smile, sure. I'd tip anyone— not necessarily because it's you and that's the honest truth. I think people should always tip your delivery drivers." / @kearncys

"Wow okay....so I'm just 'anyone' now? Be for real. I bring you mildly warm food with a smile, and all I get is 'anyone' status? Guess I’ll just leave a smile on the doorstep next time."

“ You gotta respect everyone otherwise you really don’t deserve respect yourself, do you know what I mean?” Ramsey noted giving him a small smile before she tried to hide how much her smile grew at his wink. “ what if I wanted to see a nice smile without the food? Do I still call?“ she asked trying to hide how his teasing got her so she spun it back the best she could. “ wait define questionable food choices?” @kearncys

"Imagine this: I show up at your door, Burger King in hand, that smile you can’t resist. You gonna tip me for the delivery… or is a date on the table instead?"

“Depends,” Dallas says after a beat, “Did I order this Burger King or did you just happen on my doorstep and you’re trying to offload an order you don’t want?”

“I mean, you’re the one over here questioning things. What’s with the whole ‘did I order this or did you just show up’ routine? Are we playing detective now, or is this just how you greet everyone?” He smirks, shaking his head. “Kinda bold, don’t you think? Do you want the food or not? In this hypothetical situation of course.”

“ of course I’m tipping. You don't even need to smile at me. “ Ramsey replied shaking her head. She just wasn’t one of those people who was out to screw over people for doing their job or people really just being nice to her. Especially when she had been a waitress before hitting it big. “ bartenders, waitstaff, delivery people. I’m not gonna be a dick to any of them. Friends dropping off food? I'm especially not being a dick to them" @kearncys“

"Respect. I like that. No games, just good karma. And hey, next time you feel tempted to order, I’ll make sure to bring it with a smile, just for the tip." He gives her a wink, clearly amused. "You keep being decent, I’ll keep showing up with questionable food choices."

Priya rose a brow at the man's question, looking him up and down. "Considering I hardly ever eat Burger King, I'd first wonder who the hell you even are." She quipped back before shrugging, "But, if it's not like poisoned or anything and you're just giving it to me...sure? There's many variables here."

"Poison? Nah, just questionable decisions and questionable taste. But hey, free food, free mystery. What's the worst that could happen?" He really needed a new line to meet people with.

"I..." Presley holds her bag of oranges securely to her chest, pausing with a scrunched mouth as she looked him over.

"I'm going to need context. Is Burger King an important detail?"

Wyatt raises an eyebrow, clearly enjoying the moment. "Context? Nah, no need for context. It’s just me, a Burger King bag, and an existential question. You tipping, or am I walking away with an empty conscience?"

"Um, yeah I'm tipping...your location off to the police, because like how did you even get my address?"

While Cricket did love the occasional DoorDash mixup when it resulted in free food being left at her door, the mental image of wordlessly being handed a suspicious bag of Burger King she didn't order by a man she didn't know smiling at her and still expecting a tip did admittedly ruin that fantasy, just a little.

"But if I say yes and in this hypothetical don't call the cops on you," Cricket pointed to the jar on the top shelf, pushed just out of her reach, "would you like maybe mind grabbing that for me?"

"Woah, slow down. I'm not sure I want to grab that for you. First of all, i would obviously know your address from the DoorDash app telling me where to deliver your food and second of all...this is a hypothetical. What if I want to start my food delivery career? We are off to a bad start here." Wyatt grabs the jar anyway but in a split moment of decision, he holds it just out of reach, "so, tip?" he smiles. It's a joke and it might land horribly but he might as well try.

"I'm not opening the door unless you look like the profile picture on the GrubHub app, just saying," Joey states, confused by the sudden prompt. "But yes, otherwise I would tip. I survive on them, so I won't stiff anyone. Did someone leave you nothing for delivering? That's just not right."

"GrubHub? Really? I’m not desperate enough to work for them. I’m all about DoorDash, thank you very much. But seriously, tips matter. What’s the tipping standard here?"

Conrad arched an eyebrow. “Do you always start conversations with strangers that way?” Then, after a beat, he continued, “But if I ordered it, I’m tipping. I spent years working odd jobs in bars and restaurants — I know how important tips are. Why do you ask?”

He shrugged, "i don't know i'm bored and you look like a bad tipper. Are you friends with all of your Doordash drivers? I'm just being realistic. You said you're tipping, but how much? Does a smile at your door make a difference?"

"First of all, I judge those who don't tip and second, I would actually say I love you if you brought me burger king along with a nice tip." Gracie stated, "Something about burger king fries hit different--not like McDonald's though. McDonald fries has a special place in my heart."

"Okay, well Burger King is what you ordered in this scenario. Fries aside, how much are we talking here? Be honest, what's the tipping vibe? What's the magic number for you to feel like a decent human being?"

"If I have to be, I guess," Wyatt partially jokes, even though hearing someone test their standup is the last thing he would want to be doing right now, "on one condition though. maybe you can help me out with something."

Flora looked over at the closest person to her. Unsure of how to start a conversation with them, she came up with anything that popped into her brain at that moment. "If you couldn't be a human anymore, would you rather be turned into a worm or a fish?" It was a great ice breaker.

"Excuse me?" Wyatt looks over, eyes lifting from his screen towards the other, "were you talking to me?" did it even matter? "Worm...I guess? They look like they have a good time. Wait, I take it back. A fish. More variety. What about you?" And just like that, he was sucked into conversation.

Kate grumbled, as she lay across the vinyl floor with her legs resting against the wall of the elevator, flicking through TikToks on her phone. She couldn't remember how long they'd been at a standstill for, but the silence between the two was becoming too much for her to bare. "You got somewhere to be?"

It was just his luck. No, really. His first month in Aurora Bay and he was celebrating by being stuck in an...elevator? Blue hues glance over at the other, who has made themselves comfortable with their phone. Wyatt on the other hand, had about 11% battery left because why would he care about charging it if he had been on his way home? Sliding to the ground, he winces. "Not anywhere to be, just feeling incredibly unfortunate right now. You?"
