I keep seeing images of Buster Keaton and I can't tell if they're edited or not
If they're from us, usually not but there are a few floating around at the moment that have had the filter treatment we think.
Happy Birthday Joseph Frank ‘Buster’ Keaton VI - October 4th 1895 - February 1st 1966
“I think I have had the happiest and luckiest of lives. Maybe this is because I never expected as much as I got.”
“Not long ago a friend asked me what was the greatest pleasure I got from spending my whole life as an actor. There have been so many that I had to think about that for a moment. Then I said, "Like everyone else, I like to be with a happy crowd.”

Oh, um. Okay. So like a million years ago, the lovely cearbhal gave me an equally lovely prompt:
soldier!Buster gets passed around the officers’ club (his snake dance is *highly popular*)
Though I didn’t follow it quite as closely as I’d meant to, here’s what I came up. Also, I will get started on the second part soon and I apologize the longest wait and I also apologize in advance for the writing itself lol. You can see some of what inspired the prompt and story here and here. Also interested parties can hear a later recording of “Shim-Me-Sha-Wabble” here.

Tumblr ‘bout to tear Buster’s ass to pieces:
BUSTER ON THE RUN⎜A Tribute to Buster Keaton
For ten years, I’ve been wanting to make a tribute video for Buster Keaton…
Now I finally did it.
It’s called “Buster on the Run” and it’s about… well, Buster Keaton being on the run.
It took me a long time to make it, so I do hope you enjoy it.
This is for all the Buster fans out there and those who want to become one…
Love ya, Buster.

#FanArtFriday @keatonkeatonkeaton on Instagram stitches Buster Keaton clips like a maniac…but they also put pen to paper in portraiture! Send your fan art to [email protected] for a chance to feature in future or in our magazine, “The Keaton Chronicle.”
Thank you for sharing! 🤩
