A lot of the time when I paint something traditionally, that process forces some of the nuance out of the digital sketch I did (bc I’m unskilled? Bc that’s just the nature of the medium? Not sure) so oftentimes I like to also digitally finish the sketch as well, when the sketch had turned out good! Not sure if that’s normal or I’m just weird as hell. Anyways, that was this piece! Another print I had intended to debut at #ECCC which unfortunately if you haven’t seen the wave of artists scrambling—has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 outbreak. I’m glad that ReedPop is being proactive and doing their part to prevent the spread of this virus, and protect the most vulnerable members of our communities. That being said, this was my biggest show of the year that Caleb took off work to be my table hand at, for which I ordered hundreds and hundreds of dollars of merch and supplies which are now all sitting in ridiculous excess in my office. So, I’ll be updating my shop on March 12 at 12pm PDT with all of my con merch, discounted to my con pricing. All the info (as well as a count down you can set a reminder for) is in my story. I’m so sorry I won’t be seeing your wonderful faces in person this upcoming week, we were so excited to have this opportunity! ReedPop has mentioned rescheduling the con for sometime this summer, so I’m holding on to my table in hopes that the new dates will align with my schedule, and I’ll still have a shot at attending.
