That is a rather refreshing thought actually, to think of seeing those two together, and spending quality time with one another, grandfather to grandson.Bardock training Gohan, teaching him how to hunt, clean his kill properly and maybe even getting in a good laugh.The both of them getting in a good spar while Gine and Chi-chi cook and prepare for their meals. 4 Page introduction to my comic, Jack and the Scholar! And if you haven’t guessed it, She is the descendant of an old friend. Woo! I’ve been working on this for weeks! Synopsis. Taken place in the beginning of the 50 year time gap proceeding the events  of Season 5, Jack has recently lost his sword and we begin to see his transition into frustration and mental distress. Here he is buying the first weapon of his new armor, his pistol. Something that he is not too pleased about. The merchant suggest he could ‘sneak up from behind’ which is a very un-honorable way to conduct yourself in battle. Especially for Jack. But he needs a weapon non the less. He bumps into a field laborer distracted by her reading. In passing she casually mention historical facts and stories that Jack hadn’t heard in so long and honestly didn’t think anyone else knew. When he finally gets a good look at her, he senses something familiar, he just can’t quite put his finger on it. Of course, she’s a woman of science and fact, so when Jack tells her that he is a time traveling Samurai from feudal japan with no sword named ‘Jack’…she doesn’t really believe him. Brushing him off, the woman turns to leave only to have her facts corrected by Jack. It may of struck a nerve with her, perhaps she had lost something in translation? Jack’s mind is in the beginning process of deteriorating.  It begins to play tricks on him, taunting him of a childhood friend and fooling him into believing that perhaps he still in his own time. However the thoughts only destroy him more, he’s haunted by what he can not chase nor escape from. But the woman seems to have an agenda of her own. Perhaps they just got off on the  Hopefully you like the introduction! If I get a good response I’ll finish chapter 1! You did some really good perspective angles in this and even tho you didn’t have any background to really work with (water doesn’t really change no matter the angle) almost all your panels were different so it came out very aesthetically pleasing. 

Lots of great expressions, this was just over all really well done.

PT1 of my 20 page comic that I’ve been working on that past 2 ½ months! I’ve had this character in mind for months and told myself that 2018 was going to be spent seeing through projects I didn’t do in 2017. I really wanted to give a bit of an ink / watercolor  feel to the pages. CAN’T WAIT TO SHOW THE ACTION PAGES!  Really this comic is going to be about principles / view points on death and fear driven by ignorance.  STORY SO FAR Takes places half way through the 50 years before the end of the series. It’s become abundantly clear that Jack isn’t aging. His sword is gone. He’s got his staff but not much else at this point.  Enter: Anahat Nephila (Eternal Silk Weaver) Nothing too special about her other than she just has principal. She’s an on going figure who survives and lives on through youth of any kind, though she seems to fancy the youth of the armies that  are sent to destroy her. She’s NOT a succubus (Like she stated above, sleeping with men woudl be too easy).) She takes in the youth of the enemies she kills which in return extends her own life. There’s no rhyme or reason to her motives. She just exists as an eternal bystander who enjoys watching the changing of the world orders but just how old she is is yet to be revealed. The extend of her story as of these pages is that Aku is confused by her lack of motives. He doesn’t understand why someone who can live forever does not attempt over throw him. As a result of this, he has tried countless times to kill her despite her being disinterested in overthrowing him and never going out of her way to challenge. However, she notices a cease fire in his attacks in the last 25 years (When Jack arrives) who now has eternal youth. Seeing that she never even heard of Jack, Aku has a plan. A bargain really. But she might be interested for different reasons. Hopefully you guys like it so far! Feed back appreciate!  PT2 This weekend.
