"Don’t cling to a mistake just because you spent a lot of time making it." - Unknown
"Sometimes what you’re most afraid of doing is the very thing that will set you free." - Robert Tew
"Close your eyes and imagine the best version of you possible. That’s who you really are, let go of any part of you that doesn’t believe it." - Unknown
Things to Stop Saying to Yourself
1. “I’m no good at …”
Say instead “It’s just a skill, and something I can learn.”
2. “I’m such a failure …”
Say instead “I got it wrong, and everybody makes mistakes.”
3. “There’s no point in trying …”
Say instead “It may be hard, but step by step will get me there.”
4. “Everybody hates me; I’ve got no friends …”
Say instead “It doesn’t really matter what these people think of me.
There are others who will recognize my value and worth.”
5. “I hate myself. I deserve to be rejected …”
Say instead “I am beautiful inside, and have value and worth. I deserve to be cherished and be treated well.”

But don’t make the mistake of leaving things for tomorrow. If you start today the first step is taken. We must realize that we must take action in the present. Or else we create the habit of rescheduling to improve ourselves.

How to Avoid Over-Thinking
1. When you feel bogged down and you can’t clear your mind, do something physical or get some exercise.
2. Set a time limit for your “thinking time” then make yourself move on to doing something else.
3. Interrupt the thinking process or distract yourself by diverting your attention onto something very different.
4. Stop discussing what concerns you with everyone you meet as you’ll just end up confused, and you won’t know what to do.
5. Accept that uncertainty is part of this life, and we don’t have all the facts, or know what’s further down the road.
6. Throw yourself into a project, a hobby or some work. That will force you to refocus on something else instead.
7. Let your mind go blank and just relax for a while. It will help you see more clearly when you start to think, next time.
what if i accepted all opportunities offered to me? will anything change? what if I just did it and didn’t wait for myself to be ready? No reservations and just put myself out there? Will I have grown?
Of course, the answer to all my questions is a definite yes. I should stop regretting what could have been but instead focus on what I could still do. I should not be afraid to fail and to be criticize because that is how I’ll be able to grow. Stop with the what ifs and instead just do it. Just fucking do it!
We create our own stories, it is up to us what plot twist we want to make with our lives. Isn’t that liberating and exciting?
As long as you’re living, there is hope. You will soon get what your heart desire as long as you work for it and pray for it. The universe will do everything for it to be yours. So keep on learning. keep on learning, you still have so much to learn. Never be scared of opportunities and never doubt your capabilities. You are capable.
we keep on missing opportunities.
“You don’t always win your battles, but it’s good to know you fought.”
— Lauren Bacall (via perrfectly)
“Be alone. Eat alone, take yourself on dates, sleep alone. In the midst of this you will learn about yourself. You will grow, you will learn what inspires you. You will cultivate your own dreams, your own beliefs, your own stunning clarity. And when you do meet the right person who makes your cells dance, you will be sure of it because you are sure of yourself.”
— Bianca Sparacino
