Goodbye Post

Hello everybody! I’ve been doing some thinking and I believe it’s time to say goodbye to this blog. I started this blog to try and spread some joy throughout the Lorax fandom. Hopefully I’ve achieved that goal, because you all have certainly brought me plenty of joy! I’ve made some great friends in this fandom and watching the Lorax never fails to make me smile. It will always hold a special place in my heart, but I feel like this blog has reached a fine conclusion, and it’s time to let it go (excuse the pun). If anyone would still like to stay in contact, whether just to have a friend, a confidant, or even a presence on your dash that you can smile at every once in a while, my personal blog will now be made known: @karin848 Feel free to contact me there! I also have a side-blog dedicated to whacky Lorax/Once-ler related hijinks. The url is @lifeofaonceling and I still occasionally reblog a post or two to that one. It’s more casual of course but you can still send an ask or two and I’d be happy to strike up a convo! I’d like to send a big warm thank you to everyone in the fandom (and other fandoms) who have made this blog a safe and happy place for people to help spread some smiles to others and hopefully gained some in return. Lorax Fandom ALL INCLUSIVE AU

GreenVille University

So after talking with a bunch of members in the Lorax fandom in the fandom-wide tinychat, we all decided that we’d like to start a new AU, similar to what Thneedville High was but with new characters, separate from it. If you have any questions about it, you can ask, feel free. There are basically no rules to join. ANYONE can, Just make an account for your character and remember the tags GREENVILLE UNIVERSITY - for intro posts or informational posts or fanart, any of the sort

GVUni - for any asks or roleplay within it. 

To find those involved, we are going to be using the first tag so feel free to jump in! the more the merrier!

About two years ago, I sat in a theatre watching ‘The Lorax’ for the very first time. About two years ago, I had joined this lovely little fandom dedicated to this adorable dork who went by The Once-ler.

And now here I am, here we are. We’ve chopped down yet another tree (sorry, Lorax) and although this fandom has gotten significantly smaller, and despite our hardships, we’ve decided to all push that aside and gather together to celebrate how far we’ve come.

I have all of you guys to thank for making my time in this fandom, and on tumblr in general, a truly memorable one. I want to thank all the friends I’ve made, and all the people I’ve met for making me the person that I am today.

Here’s to use another year! Let’s make this one a good one.

Being a Friday, this is another, better time to stream the movie again! As a bonus, after the stream all that want to can come hang out at Tinychat for some friendly chatting! Movie will possibly be showing at 8 pm.
