Yesterday, photographer Michael Gallacher and I went to the Humane Society of Western Montana to meet a pup named Bean.
Bean and his two siblings have neurological issues, and he can't get around well without this cart. It's handmade by a couple in Missoula.
Humane Society director Lora O'Connor said many, many people have helped Bean (Green Bean), Tom Turkey, and Pumpkin Pie.
"I just think they're such a great example of a community that believes that every life matters," O'Connor said of the pups.
