Call Chivas basic and pop enough but they've been here for long for a reason! Drinking the classic Chivas 12 with notes of fresh fruit: orange zest, orange blossom, grapefruit, and a little bit passion fruit! There's a little sweetness that I can only describe a hint of light brown sugar or nectar; perfect to enjoy on the rocks. I consider the 12-15 yr blends as the lemonade of my whisky collection. Chivas blending you have done it again, like you always do.
Note that there's always a hint of fermentation from whisky; this one reminds me of light grain, maybe oat with yogurt, without the dairy.
