Watched after Tim's Vermeer, so that may have dulled my experience with this documentary. Interesting kid and insight into this aspect of America, but not the best documentary.

Wow!!
Editing a thesis on cultural heritage in China
I love this image. Alexander Gronsky (Pastoral 2008-2012) Russian urban pastoralist, answering the question: Where do Muscovites go on a sunny day?
Finished my HP read-a-thon yesterday morning. I cried!! Who knew that series was so good? (Well, everyone, I guess).
Not the plan I am working to, but I have been getting a little around the house done for three days straight and it is getting easier by the day :) Go me!
Booked my accommodation for my res school in Armidale. Looks like a nice place to spend three nights with Glen, hitting the books!
Working on a thesis about student retention in Saudi higher education. It's really quite interesting, but whingey 19 year old boys seem to have similar complaints wherever you go.
Almost there almost there almost there. Just 13 pages to go on this thesis + final checks.
Every element of Swans' sound is alarming, brutal, dark and sublimely beautiful.
Stream To Be Kind from NPR Music’s First Listen.
So turns out I like industrial? Certainly the one song I listened to was the best thing I have heard in ages!
Been watching this as it comes out. Funny stuff :)
Working on a thesis about screw auger displacement pile techniques. Interesting, and well written.
House cleaning for a few hours today. It's unusual enough lately to warrant a special post :)
Finished Top of the Lake. It was hopeless. The writing and direction were awkward, with clunky scenes, obvious plot set up and so many clichés! Ugh. Why did this get such good reviews? Because of the scenery?
4/5 of the way through a thesis on how the ATO responds to tax avoidance. It's actually quite a pleasure to work on.
Finished HP 5 and onto 6. I really enjoyed 5, but fear I may be in for a HP overdose. Hermione's studies have made me nostalgic for the idea of school, and I find myself even more drawn to Coursera.
