Self-portrait, 2024 🗡🐺 . I always loved the way @veronique_meignaud incorporated forms and colors in her Dishonored works, especially in her "Outsider" key art, and so I wanted to do the same, recreating her piece with my face in it for a new profile pic. I love the result and it was so liberating doing something like this. Changing your workflow sometimes is definetly good!

Also I tried not to use heavily a reference of me, so this might not be that accurate as a portrait but I don't care. This is how I see myself. I hope you like it! (And please check veronique's stuff cause she's great!!).

Asher, gentleman thief

🕺- Asher, gentleman thief - 🕺 . First post of 2024 here we goooo!!!🔥🔥 It's been a long journey but I finally managed to finish this thingy😤...I pushed it as much as I could and even though some parts leave space for some improvement I can say that I'm quiet satisfied with the end result. I had several ideas for Asher while designing him and also while trying to portray him and his robotic cats doing something. Maybe i'll try to do more things with him (more simpler??) the next time. The first design I did of him was the old man with some white hairs lol. I ended up overpaint an image of an actor i found on pinterest after several tries because i couldn't find the right expression ahah.🤔

The designing of the two cats was totally random ahah. They look like pumas but idk if i wanted them to be pumas but whatever. I wanted them to be a bit chunky but also very elegant.... can you be elegant and chunky? I guess you can x)

This year i'll try to post more illustrations since i've literally done only three pieces last year.... shame on me. Anyway I hope you like it 😎 .

Na-dat of the Dark Realm

So... Basically I found a new job and didn't had any energy to draw ANYTHING for the past six months. It drained me physically and emotionally because it kept me away from my only passion. Now that i'm more free I can draw again and I feel better. I like to create and I hope I can continue doing it :) Here's a drawing that kept me busy for two whole weeks (yeah i'm slow). I like the end result! And again I learned a lot. Also yeah I like rocks x) Hope you like it too!

Daibheid, Faun of the mountains

First post of 2023!!! During theese weeks so much happened... so much preparations for the festivities, and no time to draw 😭 But I like how it turned out in the end! I wanted to do something different than usual... i saw that i mostly draw grumpy faces so i tried to do a character with a smile on his face. THIS WILL BE THE FIRST AND THE LAST😡 just kidding..

My last personal piece featuring a nice Valkyrie that possibly can take me to Valhalla after finishing this painting because it took me SO LONG and i'm done with photoshop and drawing but i'm also very satisfied cause I keep improving and learning things. I just need to get commissions now 💀💀

How do you usually interact with other artists? I really, really struggle with that, not only because I don't know anyone in my small area, but also because I don't know how to do it online. It feels like I actually can't connect with anyone thus it leads to people not interacting with my art...

What's one of the best thing that you've learned this week? I learned that I should be more confident in posting, promoting and showing my art cause not all is like on the internet. It's important to have a good list of contact, to talk to them and make friends if possible. Also it's important to recieve feedback on your work so you can improve faster, and also, improve TOGETHER in a community.

Anyway I decided to draw some fanart portrait from MtG (Magic the Gathering). This is Jace Beleren. I love him and I love the concept behind him. I sometimes play Magic too but I'm also a very noob player so if you ever find me on MtG Arena pls don't be too harsh on me.

WILLBENDER (based on the concept art from Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons)

When you work on your own as a self employed, especially as an artist, it's really frustrating that you have to spend more time on sponsoring your own work than to actually make some new content. At least it is for me. For a painting like this it takes me a LOT of time so i'm more concerned about "how can I improve my stuff?" over than "should i post a reel on instagram or a simple post? what time is it better?". It's becoming really a bit overstressing. Also the fact that i don't know actually how to network with other artist is very frustrating like... i don't have noone to talk to about my/their art and... be like a real community. Improving one another, speak to eachother, give possibilities to ano another. No there's nothing like that. Probably because I live in a small city, so no big art events or not really people that are REALLY focused on art cause it's seen like a waste of time. Meh anyway goodmorning :)
