merrit stepped inside the doorway of the lodge, sighing happily. her nose and cheeks were tinted a dark pink, her lips slightly chapped, and snowflakes resting on a couple of her eyelashes, only to be melted away seconds later. merrit’s body was covered in what appeared to be a man’s lime green jacket, the sleeves completely covering her hands and the end of the jacket coming to her knees. her legs were covered in leggings with a swirly pattern and on her feet were a pair of fuzzy socks and high top black converse with snow and ice caked on the bottom. “anyone who doesn’t just love the winter can honestly go fuck themselves,” merrit announced to anyone that was listening. her long fingers reached up, pulling off her chewbacca toboggan. “i mean, like, no offense to anyone who likes summer or some shit like that, but winter is the best damn season there is.”

  “ you look like the abominable snowman, meaning i absolutely cannot take you seriously, invalidating everything you just said, ” kel said, rolling her eyes. “ how can you even tell it’s winter when that’s what you’re rocking outside? i’m sweating just imagining walking around in that monster. ”

jordan took a seat on one of the love seats by the window, looking out onto the snow covered area. a small sigh escaped her before she took a sip of her hot chocolate, which she had spiked with a little fireball. as she pulled the blanket onto herself, she noticed someone walking towards her. “isn’t it beautiful here?” she said with a small smile, her eyes drifting back to the snow covered trees. “there’s more hot chocolate in the kitchen, by the way,” jo added, nodding in its direction. 

  “ am i being a scrooge if i say it looks like every other snowy place i’ve been? ” kel asked, heading in the direction jo indicated to get her hands on some of the hot chocolate. she took a sip, humming contently at the warmth of the drink, and the extra kick from the alcohol. “ this, though? breathtaking. a masterpiece. a work of art. you’re the best, jo. ”

  “ if you think i’m letting you get away with this, you got another thing coming - this is not the end of our snowy adventures. ” she plopped down on one of the couches in front of the lodge’s main fireplace, tugging her sister down next to her. “ you know how i feel about winter, but you’ll still catch me fucking around in the snow. we’re on vacation poppy, live a little, ” she added, the teasing lit in her voice softening her words. “ besides, how am i supposed to take embarrassing pictures of you falling on your ass if you don’t give me ample opportunity? ”

this is my baby kel!! she’s currently starring in the novel i’m finishing up for nanowrimo but i wanted to bring her to rp. she is nb but uses she/her pronouns and IDs as p femme but her gender is p ??? as one does. she’s also 22 and v fuckin gay :)) poppy is her sister!!! they also have another sister tally who’s v cute but younger and not on the trip, plus mom and dad. they’re a p chill family tbh they don’t get up to much

kel is punk rock loser, her fave pastime is following bands on tour and snapping cool pics. she’s a photographer by trade and makes a decent living at it, she’s had her own photo business for a lil over a year now. she’s also really into like supernatural stuff and aliens and all of that - in a dream world she’d have a ghost hunting tv show but for now she just has her youtube channel which is always hilarious.

she can sometimes be a jerk mostly bc she’s so blunt, but mostly she’s just got a lotta personality and isn’t shy about it. she wants to be friends with everyone and she’s v confident in her appearance and she tries to pass on that confidence to her friends and stuff. she’s just mostly a good honestly

her blog is so under co but i have some plot ideas rolling around her blog and in my head so like this if you wanna plot and i’ll hit you up!!!
