I'm a pinch late, but this is the start of Cystic Fibrosis Awareness month. Kalydeco literally saved my life 9 years ago and overall maintained stability in health with relative ease. The past year however has been filled with a lot of battles I am not use to. It's been a struggle transitioning to a mindset of being more aggressive with my treatments. Its slowly getting easier. But with that, life still doesn't slow down for me. We took our second trip to Mexico last month and it was fantastic. I ended up sick right before the trip and fought to keep from getting worse while there. I still pushed myself beyond what I probably should have, because I didn't want to miss anything. I'm recovering though! It was worth every moment. Life is worth it.
