These have been lessons of the Sages in all ancient and great civilizations.

The journey for Truth, both within and without, accompanied by the talent of inquiry and the practice of challenging the status quo, is the engine for the evolution and continuation of society and civilization. The seekers on this journey are bound by an invisible bond, which may be sometimes called the Mystic Tie."

In my ritual to Sekhmet I was rather surprised as to what she told me. But then again when dealing with divinity and especially a goddess you never know what lesson they have up their sleeve. She told me that sometimes you may have a goal, a dream, a vision that you want to accomplish. It eats away at you night and day and all you can think about is getting it now! 

 look at the lioness in the bush. Though she sees her prey and knows what she wants, though hunger pains shoot through her stomach and she sees as her cubs watches her to learn. She knows that she must first hide and be patient. She acts to soon her prey is alerted to her presence, and if she never acts she starves. sometimes you have to be like the predator waiting in the grass learn to be patient and when divine timing is right you will feed on your desires and will feed others in the process.
